London Hilton on Park Lane

For those looking for a Fabulous! Luxurious, hotel in London close to shops and attractions, and the tube, look no further than The London Hilton on Park Lane. This hotel is close to theatres, over looks Hyde Park, and is virtually a stones throw away from Buckingham Palace. What more could you ask for other than an afternoon tea invitation from The Queen herself!

Its an extremely tall building as you can see and I was a bit apprehensive about the floor we would be on as I am generally terrified of heights. The lobby / reception area is beautiful and exudes luxury. The staff were all very attentive and I was very pleased with the level of service provided, although we did end up with a double instead of two singles for myself and a friend even though we had booked singles in advance (not to worry, we had designated sides and passed out on them the second we got to bed).

The rooms were spacious for a London hotel and the bed was nice and bouncy, having gone with a friend instead of children on this occasion I was forced to test this out for myself! (unfortunately those pictures are a bit blurry so I haven’t uploaded them, honest).

The bathroom was well thought out, spotless and spacious.

The windows were large, perfectly suited to complement the view, amazing! We could see a few well know landmarks from out bedroom window (I believe we were on the 7th floor).
Our visit was only for one night as we had gone to see a show, but, if time had permitted then the Windows Restaurant and Bar would have been a very strong contender on our must try list, boasting 360 degree views of London. That must be a breathtaking view at night.

All lit up like a Christmas Tree, the hotel at night. Our room was nice and quiet and the bed very comfortable so both of us had a great nights sleep.

The Podium Restaurant and Bar can be found at the London Hilton on Park Lane which offers a famous Chocolate Afternoon Tea. Again, time permitting we would have paid them a visit. Definitely something to put on my must try list!
