We love Shrek!

If like us you’ve seen all the movies a number of times then Shreks Adventure near Sea Life in London is the ideal place for you.

Shrek gets interactive in this really well-designed attraction.  Turn your mobiles on silent, turn off your cameras and take a seat on the bus to be magically whisked to Far Far Away.

As you walk around you’ll find some great photo opps.

The Tour

The fabulously fun adventure begins when we met the lovely Princess Fiona in the bus depot and then ….. Okay, so I’m not going to give the plot away.  We all loved the part with the 4D bus.  After it finished my son chimed “again, again” but, we had so much more still to see.

On our travels, we met all sorts of fantastic characters from Shrek and Fiona to Puss in Boots, Donkey and Gingy.

You’ll even meet Shrek’s friends from other Dreamworks films including, How To Train Your Dragon, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda.

The kids and adults loved the interactive element as we followed the numerous characters around the various parts of the tour.  It was really great fun and one that both adults and children would love.  We all agreed it’s the perfect place for a family day out.

More Details

This was super easy to get to with just a short walk even for those with little legs.  The tour lasted for 90 minutes and we loved every second of it.

Age Range it Appeals To

This is, of course, is suitable for children of all ages whether fans of the films or young at heart. I really didn’t know what to expect but, I can safely say it was really good fun and I’m in my 40’s.  Even my mum in her 60’s thoroughly enjoyed our adventure and would do it again in a heartbeat and we’d all join her!

There are loads of great attractions in London to visit with children.  We’re working our way through them all slowly. If you don’t live in London but are coming for a visit you’ll find you are spoilt for choice. Make sure you book ahead where necessary to avoid disappointment.
