Father’s Day Gifts 2018

I’m sure many of you are super organised like me and have bought your Father’s Day gifts already ahead of next week.  Whether you are buying small Father’s Day gifts from children or a gift for your own father or husband you want to get them something that you know they will love?

There are so many gifts to choose from and it’s not always easy to choose what to get.  Here are a few suggestions that I know you will love and hopefully will make it easier for you when deciding what to get as you don’t have long now.

Drinks

Gin is super popular at the moment.  It’s evolved from the basic to a large range with numerous exciting flavours.  I love to buy different gins for dad and in turn he loves drinking them.  But, it’s not just gin that he enjoys.  He loves various types of cordials which led me to discover elderflower liquors and since then I have introduce these to both my father and husband who are now fans.  Of course I have bought both a bottle for Father’s Day although I am hoping to get to sample at least one of them – damn I should have bought one for myself.  I found them when shopping in Brent Cross at John Lewis for £20 each.  Not bad really pricewise, plus it’s yummy!

Experiences

Experiences are a fantastic idea as a gift and can be tailored for the recipients preferences.  The great thing about these is that you don’t need to spend a fortune on them if you don’t want to.  Gifts can be varied really varied from an interactive theatre show to indoor karting, breaks away, relaxation days, a segway experience, numerous meals out all around the country.  The list is extensive and to find all of these on just one website all you need to do is visit buyagift, simple!  Purchase is quick and easy so if you are reading this last minute don’t despair.

Toiletries

Okay so you may have gathered I love Baylis and Harding products.  If at least one of their items didn’t feature in this sort post then there would be something seriously wrong with me.  The products are easy to track down and they can be found in many supermarkets and department stores.  Check out what we got for daddy.

The Baylis & Harding Skin Spa for Men Gift Set

This Amber and Sandalwood set is nicely presented and contains a 300ml Hair & Body Wash and 200ml Shower Gel and 200ml Aftershave Balm.  These have a great masculine fragrance and will leave skin feeling cleansed, soothed and nourished.

I found them in Sainsbury’s for £7.50.  It’s a reasonable price for a good looking, great smelling set.

They have numerous sets available including The Fuzzy Duck Men’s Beer Grooming Set available from Amazon for £15.  Of course, this is ideal for beer lovers.  There are a few different options in this range ranging from £8 to £25.

Wallets

Wallets are always handy and personalised ones are even better.  There are so many different styles to choose from.  These include super thin to others that have many compartments and can fit numerous cards, cash, receipts etc.

Watches

Watches can make great gifts and my dad has quite a collection from well known expensive brands to cheaper brands that produce equally well made watches.  He is growing quite a collection.
