Foodies flock each year to Regents Park in London to the Taste of London. The last time I had visited was around 2014 so it was well worth a revisit. Prior to the event, many of the companies attending were giving away free tickets, but no matter how many I entered I was not able to win any. But, I was fortunate enough to be given tickets by a generous individual that was unable to use their tickets. This year was a scorcher which was amazing, and people arrived in summer attire to see the 40+ chefs, sample some of the 120 dishes that were being served by 34 restaurants. In addition, there were 150+ artisan producers to ensure that visitors would get to sample some great foods at Taste of London 2025.

Taste of London 2025
When you arrive at the event you may be greeted by companies from the very start offering free tote bags. Some will contain their company details and others a tasty freebie to eat or drink. It’s always a good idea to take a look at the website before you go so you know which stalls you might like to visit. Alternatively, walk around the edges before working through the central areas. There are maps on site too which can come in handy. If you want to try to learn how to make some new dishes be sure to book early at the Taste School when you arrive. It was max 2 people per booking ages 12 and over. Here you can learn hands on to make a new dish with which you can wow family and friends after the event.
How to get into Taste of London for Free
Taste of London tickets need to be paid for, but, you might be able to win yourself tickets to the show. These may be basic tickets, multiple day entry tickets or even VIP. In order to do this, you will need to have a Facebook or Instagram account. I didn’t come across any on Twitter. Also, start looking for competitions early. Competitions may be spotted from as early as a month to month and a half before the event so keep your eyes peeled.

Restaurants at Taste of London!
You will find some great restaurants have taken up residence during the duration of the event. From here you can buy a wide array of tasty dishes from various cuisines. These include British, Spanish, Modern Japanese etc. You will find a full list of the restaurants attending each year on the Taste of London website.
Food Stands
On my visit, I found a stand for Korean food some of which we had previously tried and some new items to us. The beauty of this type of show is the number of new companies and products that you can be exposed to. There are so many flavours, dishes, spices, drinks, condiments that many of us have yet to discover.

Other Stands
Not all of the food stands sell food. Some will just sell products and others may be there to sign you up for subscriptions such as Freddie’s Flowers, Hello Fresh, Marriott Bon Voyage which were some I came across this year.
How to Get Freebies!!!
There are a lot of stands that will do sampling or foods and of various drinks too. Whilst there, I was able to try some sparkling white and red wine spritz’s from La Casera, gyoza, doughlicious, Holy Guacamole, still and sparkling canned water, caviar crisps, pineapple tequila, fruit with Tajin (a spicy seasoning), treacle bacon, Hu Chocolate, various protein / soya based products, cold chocolate made with Island Chocolates – a Nutella alternative (palm oil free), some Schweppes carbonated gin twist, fibre drinks, fresh pasta, and more. You can pick up and try and move to the next stand, or stay and have a chat with the friendly servers to find out more about the product you tried.
In addition, you could also win packs and jars of items, merchandise and tote bags by participating in spin the wheel games. There were also toss the bean bags games to win prizes. With some of these you could simply play, with others you would need to sign up using their QR code.
We were fortunate enough to come away with a jar of mixed jam, poppadums, a yummy tomato salsa, tote bags as well as some other goodies.

Conclusion
We had a really fun day out at Taste of London 2025 and are planning on visiting again next year. If you are a foodie and really enjoy trying a range of different dishes this is something you will enjoy. There are some great foods to try, whether you are paying for the dishes or sampling freebies. It is important to note that prices can be high for the portion sizes given. But, it’s a great way to discover new London restaurants.

Sounds like Taste of London is definitely a must-visit! We have a similar event downtown, and the food is always amazing. I love how these events let you sample a wide variety of dishes. We even have different ice cream vendors that set up just for the occasion, it’s always a highlight!
That must be great to try different ice creams. There were a few at this event too.
I have not been to Taste of London. This is an event that I want to go to as the food sounds amazing.

This sounds like such a great time. I’m a huge fan of food festivals like this. You never know what you’re going to find, but you always know it will be delicious!
I know, it can be very interesting and good fun too!
We went to this a few years ago and had a great day, when we went through we found it was very expensive but we did enjoy the food and drinks and of course the ice cream
It can be but there are lots of samples to be tried too. It all depends on what types of foods you try, where you get them from and how many of you go.
I love a food show. I’ve not been to Taste London before. It’s a great thing to go and see, I love the freebies and getting little tasters of food and drinks. I hope to visit next time.
It’s so much fun and it’s nice to try the different food and drink samples. Gives you some great inspiration for things to cook at home.

It’s been a lot of years since I last went to taste of London, definitely something I want to keep my eyes open for next summer if we manage to get out for a day. Love that so many places offered freebies x
It was great there, plenty of different things too try!
I want to try the ice cream. I wonder if there’s a different taste, as an ice cream lover.
They have a wide variety to choose from x
This event seems like a great way to try all different kinds of foods and get to know these local businesses. My city puts on similar events and they are always so much fun.
They are great fun and a lovely way to be introduced to new restaurants, foodie products etc.
I have not been to a foodie event like this in such a long time. The last time my husband went to was at least 10 years ago. I would have loved all the sampling of many different types of foods and buy some newly found food products they usually sell at these events.
It is a lovely event with plenty or products to discover. You would have loved it x

Ha, me too. You would have loved this!!!
That’s awesome that you got so many goodies to bring home. I do love trying new eats so that jam would have made me particularly happy.
The jam was lovely. It works well in a range of cakes.
Every single year I think about getting along to A Taste of London, but it is always on dates which aren’t fantastic for us. Thank you for sharing a little look into what it is like.
That’s a shame, they’re normally from a Wednesday to Sunday if that helps. Hope you can go next year.
This makes me want to visit London again! I love that city and also a good food festival!
It is a really fun festival go visit.
I have always loved London. Especially the Buzz. Thank you for the info.
