Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth Liberator Serum

I started using the Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth Liberator Serum around a month and a half ago.  I wanted to make sure I gave it a good try before blogging about it to give it justice.

When you read all the info it says that the YSL Youth Serum has the highest concentration of Glycanactif in the range which is said to stimulate regeneration deep within the skin and boost youth-promoting functions.  From the 1st dose it is said to give skin an even and luminous appearance. After 7 days the skin feels transformed, smooth, firm and plump. And after a month, the skin feels tighter and wrinkles appear reduced. Skin looks visibly younger.

Sounds too good to be true?  Well this is what happened when I started using it.  I honestly didn’t notice anything after the first application, but! within around 3 days I did notice that my skin was obviously more illuminous.  I actually noticed my skin felt smoother within about a week, after a about 14 days I realised that the patchy spots that had developed on my face during and as a result of pregnancy were actually beginning to fade and after a few weeks the skin on my face appeared firmer.  I did not see an obvious reduction in wrinkles although my main wrinkles under my eyes where the serum was not applied and also on my forehead and the wrinkles there are very deep (or at least I think they are).  I did use a moisturiser over the serum as my skin did need it but it was one that I had been using before so I know that the improvements to my skin were purely thanks to the serum.

I was extremely impressed by the serum and although some might initially think this to be an expensive product it really isn’t as it lasts quite a long time and I would say it’s worth every penny.

When using the serum you only use a very small amount, I would suggest putting some into the palm of your hand and then applying small amounts to each section of your face directly with your finger not by rubbing it on your hands and then applying as it then sinks into the skin on your hands and you need to use more.

Yves Saint Laurent Forever Youth Liberator Serum can be found at various stores such as House of Fraser, Harrods, Selfridges, John Lewis and Boots.

  1. What a great reveiw thinking of getting this for my mum for Christmas as she is always buying creams and lotions that dont work but after reading your review, im going to pop some in her Christmas Stocking as she deserves some , thanks for all the information xx Julie Simpson

  2. Make sure you shop around as the prices vary quite a bit between stores and some have promotions running too. Its absolutely fantastic and my skin looks so much brighter now, I had to do a double take when I first noticed 😉

  3. Awesome review, can’t wait to see my results.

  4. People see different results with products as our skin can react differently, hope you get good results 😉

  5. I’ve been using this and love it but can’t find any information on whether it’s safe to use during pregnancy. I threw out the brochure that came with it (wasn’t pregnant then so wasn’t thinking) but would now like to know if anyone knows if it’s ok?

  6. I’m not sure Katrina but then I would assume that if it cannot be used during pregnancy then they would have a warning on the bottle 😉
