As many of you may have noticed I do like to feature natural and organic products on my blog. Why? Because it’s an area that I really believe in, well what else would you expect from a trained medical herbalist! I recently discovered Noah an exclusive Italian line of beauty products for the body and hair made from plant extracts and essential oils. They have a good range of products that work on different problem areas whether your hair is fine and oily, brittle and dull, prone to dandruff and more. The products are free of Parabens, Paraffin, Mineral Oils, DEA and SLS and the products pH levels are between 2.8 and 5.5.
On using the new shampoo and conditioner the first thing I noticed was the aroma. Both were lovely and natural. The shampoo (for fine and oily hair) was gorgeous and citrusy thanks to the orange and lemon oils it contains. Both of these are great at cutting through grease and are great to help balance the scalps sebum production. The addition of wheat protein helps to nourish and thicken the hair. My hair smelt amazing and I was in two minds as to whether to try the conditioner (detangling and moisturizing) until I smelt that too. Its aroma is a cross between shea butter and coconut and the results are noticeable instantly. What can I say, this conditioner is amazing. My hair felt softer the second the conditioner had been rubbed in and once my hair had dried later on dry it still felt soft and no longer looked dry and brittle as it had done in the past as a result of all the colouring and straightening.
It was easier than normal to brush through my hair once washed and I noticed after the second use that when going over my hair with a straightener (I let it dry naturally overnight then straighten it) it took far less effort than usual. It appears that the shampoo and conditioner work extremely together and produce great results even from the first use.
