Botanicals – Organic Hand and Nail Serum

Some of you may recall that at the start of my pregnancy a few months back I had severe Hyperemesis.  This as a result left my body severely dehydrated and in turn my skin appeared very dry and it started looking, well let’s just leave it as not as plump and glowing as before.  Clearly not something that I wanted to happen yet even after the hyperemesis died down I had to watch my fluid intake as I still had nausea and was worried about the sickness returning.  This meant that one of the key aspects of skin maintenance could not be followed: drink plenty of water!  I attempted to make sure I ate oil rich foods (avocados, nuts, fish) but this as not always possible.  The best option available to me, apply something nourishing to the skin!

Our hands come under attack daily even under normal conditions.  They are exposed to the sun, to chemicals and also pollutants so it’s no wonder that they are often the first parts to show the tale tale signs of aging.  If like me you refuse to allow your body to give away your age then you may have by now tried a whole array of products and spent quite a bit of money in the attempt to achieve this.  I love natural products and so have tried a good selection by now yet fate lead me to discover a product by Botanicals recently which comes in the form of a serum for hands and nails.  My nails were not really a concern as they always seem to grow quite fast and have always been quite strong but my hands were at this stage a part of me that I was focused on working on.

The serum contains high quantities of GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid) which is high in anti-oxidants and these help to fight against free radicals to help regenerate skin tissue.  This organic product (certified by the Soil Association) contains a mix of cold compress and essential oils that help to tone and tighten the skin and reduce pigmentation.  All you need to do is massage a few drops into the hands, nails and cuticles regularly.  I tried to do this in the morning and before bed daily.  I noticed that within a few weeks the skin on my hands started to look plumper and less wrinkled.  The aroma is lovely with the fennel taking dominance.

I’m pleased with the results yielded by this serum and relieved that I did not have to wait until after the baby came to get my hands looking healthier and younger as i will have plenty to do once he arrives.

Botanicals have a range of great natural products available for the whole body and have won numerous awards for their outstanding quality so be sure to pop over to their web site to have a look.

This is NOT a Sponsored post!

I was sent a bottle of this lovely product to trial and give an honest opinion on.
