Coperni Smart Glasses
Eyewear giant Ray-Ban and tech powerhouse Meta have joined forces. They have recently released Coperni, a limited edition version of the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. The Parisian ready-to-wear brand debuted the smart glasses in the Coperni fall/winter 2025/2026 show at Paris Fashion Week. The collection was inspired by digital communities and the LAN parties popular among gamers in the ‘90s. These set the stage for the brand’s collaboration with Ray-Ban Meta. The smart glasses represent Coperni’s continuing exploration and integration of technology in high fashion. This has become a core aspect of their design philosophy. The new model and partnership also allow Ray-Ban and Meta to branch outside the tech world by showcasing how smart glasses can be a fashionable accessory far beyond practical uses.
The Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni Smart Glasses
The new limited edition smart glasses merge Ray-Ban’s classic designs with Coperni’s innovative aesthetic. This is perfectly illustrated by the trend-setting glass bag which debuted in 2022, while shedding the spotlight on the cutting-edge technology from Meta. The smart glasses feature a transparent black frame, blending the see-through trend with a sleek and timeless colourway. This also allows the technology in the frames to be seen, therefore adding to the tech-inspired aesthetic while calling back to the transparent gadgets trend of the ‘90s. The grey mirrored lenses add a touch of futuristic sci-fi chic for a fashion-forward edge.

The Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses
After launching in 2023, the Meta smart glasses quickly became a major hit in the wearable tech space. Since early 2025, two million units have been sold. The smart glasses combine Ray-Ban’s authentic design with Meta’s tech features. They’re equipped with high-quality cameras for capturing photos or videos and live streaming onto Meta’s social media platforms. They have up to four hours of battery life.
Open-ear speakers enable wearers to listen to music and take phone calls. Wearers can also take advantage of Meta’s AI assistant, which can answer questions, perform commands, and analyse
what the wearer is looking at to offer insightful information. All these actions can also be done hands-free with voice commands. This makes for a convenient and seamless experience for everyday

Coperni’s Tech-Focused Aesthetic
The smart glasses perfectly complement Coperni’s latest release. The design highlights the ‘90s gaming and tech culture whilst also featuring AI and wearable technology innovations.
The new ready-to-wear collection captured the state of fashion in the digital age and gaming, spotlighting the fascination with curation and also individuality with an air of effortless cool. Bulky, oversized blazers were paired with flowy skirts and bodysuits, corporate and casual were combined with denim jackets and slacks, studded garters and tights with pockets gave the looks an eye-catching and kooky touch, and long dresses were made of puffy material or sported wire accents.
The smart glasses provide the finishing touch on certain looks, showcasing how they can be fashionable accessories. They are also the next generation of wearable technology. We just had a meeting at work that common looking sunglasses are actually smart glassed being used for cheating by students on test days. I wonder if these are it?? They look just like glasses. I don’t allow sunglasses in my classroom, but they say they have traditional looking glasses that do the same. I always wonder why kids who go to such measures don’t just study. Equal amounts of planning and work. That being said, these would be a great gift idea to those not using them to cheat, lol
Honestly I have no idea but I’d assume that sunglasses wouldn’t be allowed in an indoor exam so it might be obvious something is not right if any are wearing them. These look like sunglasses so no issue luckily x

Okay, these sound like something straight out of a sci-fi movie — but make it fashion! I love the mix of nostalgia (hello, ‘90s gamer vibes) with seriously sleek tech. The transparent black frame is such a cool detail too — it’s like they’re not even trying to hide the tech, they’re owning it. Honestly, I didn’t think I needed smart glasses… but now I kinda do.
