Whether you’re preparing little treats for trick or treaters or for Halloween party attendants you might want to give out something a little different this year. I decided to do a little arts and crafts project with my little one to prepare for the big day. This is something that is fun and easy to do and gets the kids away from screens, always a bonus. You’ll enjoy making my Halloween pumpkin party favours with your kids in preparation for the big day.

Halloween Pumpkin Party Favours
These are really easy to make.
You will need:
Some sheets of orange tissue paper
A black pen
9 inch round cake tin
Scissors
White Page
A Glue Stick
Some white paper
Glue
Sweets. I used treat-size Haribos and treat sized Maltesers
Coloured pipe cleaners – preferably green

Instructions
Using a 9 inch cake tin, draw around the tin onto the orange tissue paper.
Cut out the circle and then place 1 or 2 packs of sweets in the center. Avoid using too many or you won’t be able to close this.
Don’t forget this paper isn’t very strong so be careful.
I used 1 pack of treat size Malteesers or 2 packs of treat size Haribos.

Scoop up the edges and hold together with an elastic band.

Then wrap the pipe cleaner around. Start at the bottom, wrap up as far as you need to to cover the paper then wrap down again.
On the piece of paper, draw 2 small triangles for the eyes and a filled in smile. Cut these out. Then cut out a triangle from the bottom of the smile and two from the top.
Stick these onto the pumpkin.
Then your pumpkin is ready.

These can be enjoyed at the party or given to guests as they leave for an extra treat. These can also be great treats for trick or treaters that come to the door.
