Easy Peasy Easter Bonnets

Arts and crafts are very popular in our household.  The girls and I love to paint and decorate just about anything including each other. It’s a great way to encourage kids to be creative and also really good fun too. In this post, we show you how to make Easter Bonnets. They are really simple to make and you’ll find plenty of items to decorate them in stores running up to Easter making it easy to find the perfect decorations.

Easter is a super fun time for them with chocolate egg hunts, face painting and our traditional Easter bonnet making!!!!!

We started making Easter bonnets last year and the girls had such a great time that we thought we really should do it again.  I went along to Home Bargains and bought some supplies for our Easter Bonnets.

To make your bonnet you will need:

1. A hat. It can be plain although a splash of colour adds to how pretty the end product will be.

2. Easter themed decorations. There are loads to choose from in stores.

We also added these as they looked pretty.

How great do these look?

As you can see it is easy peasy to make great Easter Bonnets with the kids and once made you could even look out for an Easter bonnet competition near you. Who knows, you might have created a prize winning hat!!!

Do your kids enjoy arts and crafts? Is this something you might make with your little ones?
