I love wearing lip gloss they add that much needed touch of shine and also sometimes colour to make them stand out. There are so many different types of lip gloss out there that add a light touch or colour to others like lipsticks giving a good coat of pretty pinks, vibrant reds and gorgeous nudes and browns.
I wear lip gloss as and when I remember it is a super handbag staple although if like me you have little girls you are never guaranteed it will remain in your handbag for long. Kids love lip gloss too!!!!
Whenever I wear lip gloss in the day I always make ensure that I first apply a coating of a lip balm with a sunfactor to add a little protection to my lips. The lips are basically covered in skin too albeit a different colour so we shouldn’t neglect them.
I have been using this lip gloss from Miss Beauty London available from poundland. Firstly don’t forget it’s a lip gloss so once it goes on it won’t look as strong a colour when applied.
09 Angelic Lip Gloss from Miss Beauty London
Pros
It cost £1!
It gives a lovely light colour as one might expect for a gloss.
It gives a pretty sparkly shimmer so is true to its appearance in the bottle. This was the look I was going for when I bought it.
It’s easy to apply. I like stick applicators as there is no chance of squirting to much of the product.
There is a good range or colours available.
It is still visible after eating (I don’t think anything touched my lips when I ate though).
Cons
It’s sticky and my hair stuck to it when blown into my face by the wind although that is what happens with all the lip glosses I have tried so is it really a con or just something one might expect? Easy to fix though!!! A quick dab with some kitchen paper fixes this.
No sunfactor in it.
Overall I would buy the 09 Angelic Lip Gloss from Miss Beauty London again, it does what I need it to do and is a bargain at £1. If you love the shade look out for ’09 Angelic’.

I remember the lip gloss sticking to the lips thing, that always annoys me but for something so affordable it can be given a bly lol x
I’m a matte lip kind of girl but now and again I like to mix it up and this gloss would be a nice cheap way to do that! I love how there are so many hidden treasures in POUND SHOPS! X
I’m a gloss girl as well. I also have to say that your photos are very lovely.
I’m not a huge fan of lip glosses because they’re sticky and I find my hair sticks to it. But it is a great thing to try for a quid x
I think it’s great for just £1. You can apply some lip balm first to get additional protection 🙂 x
I haven’t tried any of the Miss Beauty London products. It’s a fab price and I think my daughter would love it.
That is such a pretty colour, and the price is fantastic. It looks like a great lip gloss to have on standby in my handbag
Sounds like a bargain, what a great colour 🙂 Whoo reminds me when my hair stuck to my lipstick once, think mine was a lip gloss too 🙂
Wow I can’t believe it only cost £1! I love the shade – although really sticky lip glosses don’t really sit well with me as my hair is just constantly stuck to my lips!!
Awesome that they are only £1!!! Proper bargain but I also hate sticky lip products so Im not sure its for me!
I’ve never used a lip gloss that isn’t sticky. This one looks great on.
For a £1, that is a really good buy, don’t think you can go wrong.
It was better than I thought it was going to be. I loved the shimmer.
This lipgloss reminds me of when they were very fashion back in the 00’s and I was in high school. For £1, that’s a bargain!

Not tried anything from miss beauty London but this looks nice! Such a bargain for only £1! 🙂
The price is definitely a YES but I hate the feeling of sticky (of course in a lip gloss). The shade looks stunning too.
Pretty shade and you really want go too wrong for the price tag!
It looks like a really pretty shade and for £1, well worth trying x
Gorgeous photos, this looks like a fab product!
I have never heard of this brand before, but I would love to try it after this post!
i think ive seen this brand. i always walk past it if i did. will have to look at it next time
For me there’s nothing worse than a sticky lipgloss, for a £1 though it’s worth a go!
It’s easily remedied which is great.
I’ve never tried them but for that price you can’t go wrong. Love the way you have styled it with thee sedum – so pretty!
Thanks Christine it is a nice product and I love that photo.
I love how subtle it is, and what a bargain too!
It was a bargain, I love the colour.
For one quid that is a beautiful little find. I love the shade, very natural x
It is a bargain, I love the shade.
I can’t stand sticky gloss, but it may be worth a try for only £1!
It was fine after a quick dab with a tissue 😉
I used to love lip glosses but got out of the habit of using them for some reason. This is tempting me to get back into it though; it’s such a beautiful colour and a real bargain! Thanks for such a detailed review.
