I am a lover of Sushi and freshly prepared tasty food. I appreciate the thought that goes into the presentation of dishes so when I heard about Flesh and Buns from a number of foodie bloggers at various events who said it was one of the best restaurant they had been to in London, well I simply had to pay them a visit.
Flesh and Buns is situated in Covent Garden and serves Japanese food which I must say is truly exquisite. I made sure that we ordered a range of the dishes in order to make a fair assessment of the quality of food and every single dish ordered was fantastic. My friend and I opted for a non- alcoholic beverage . I set about studying the drinks menu and proceeded to order a mocktail with fresh blueberries and my friend had one with fresh passion fruit, both were extremely yummy!
What can I say the food did not fail to impress. We had a lovely mix of dishes from sushi to cooked food including the flesh and buns which were fantastic.
Be warned major FOOD PORN!!!!!!
Fresh Sashimi is always a winner.
The Japanese pepper squid had a delicious light crunchy batter and went well with a squeeze of lime.
All the food was cooked to perfection, nothing was overcooked or greasy. On tasting it was obvious that fresh ingredients had been used for each dish. The food was all beautifully presented. There was a great variety of food to suit every one whether or not you eat raw fish. This is a great restaurant and I have to agree with the other food bloggers this restaurant really is a hidden gem that anyone in London or visiting should try as it really is a treat.

The duck looks really nice. I’m not keen on sushi or raw fish but I could eat vegetable based sushi.
You will have loads to chose from even if you don’t eat sushi and their food is lovely.
