Props To Help You Create Amazing Images

(Gifted) There are more and more people active on social media and as a result, it’s resulted in a boom in the blogging and influencer industry. These are easy enough to do, but sometimes having the right tools can affect how well images will come out and how many likes or views you’ll get. Instagram alone has over 500 million users and posting photos and stories. In addition, there are over 600 million blogs. Each is vying for attention so having the basic of tools will help you on your way to success. Here we look at some tools and Props To Help You Create Amazing Images and you also have a chance to win them too worth almost £70.

Props To Help You Create Amazing Images

The Instagram Bag

This was created by phone photographer Matt Inwood, stylist Sophie Purser for paperbagco. It contains everything you’ll need to get you started and is ideal for those that love taking pictures of food. That’s just about everyone these days. Were not all gifted photographers and taking classes to better our skills can be heavy on the pocket and not accessible to everyone. Instead, you can have items that professional photographers would use to help you along the way to creating your own stunning images. Perfect for anyone that enjoys styling and sharing meals etc and sharing on social media and blogs.

What do you get?

The Bag

This is a limited-edition bespoke double-sided tote bag, with an internal zip pocket. The size is larger than I expected and it seems really sturdy. It’s handy for carrying around the included props as well as others when you are creating images when out and about.

Four Backdrops

Within a protective tube you’ll find four beautiful A2 backdrops made from thick paper. These are perfect for food photography for small plates as well as for other suitably sized items. The backdrops have been designed by Black Velvet Styling, a company set up by Sophie. Her company provides affordable backdrops for both amateurs and professionals to use to create mouthwatering images of their food and still life creations. They are ideal for transforming a plate of food into a gorgeous instagramable image. The backdrops included gives users a variety of starter colours and textures to experiment with. You will of course need to make sure you are careful when using these as moisture will damage the papers. You can pop over to her website if you want to increase your range of backdrops or require larger ones.

Ten Gorgeous Postcards

Renowned phone photographer Matt Inwood provides guidance on how to get the most from taking images with your phone camera. Tips are featured on the back of the cards. The tips cover using light, thinking about composition, choosing an appropriate background and more.

Photographic Reflector and Diffuser

An essential for any professional or would be photographer. The collapsable reflector fits easily into the bag and is something I’m looking forward to playing with this. It is great for adding light, adding highlights and shadows.

What Did I Think?

I loved the papers they are really lovely designs and ideal for use when taking pictures of smaller items and dishes. The 4 papers this size would have cost about £12 each when I searched online. I would have preferred them to be waterproof personally as it would reduce the risk of damage if I haven’t wiped down a dish fully. The bag is handy to carry everything around and would have a retail value of around £10, with the inclusion of the 38cm reflector which I found for £7.50 and the tips from a phone photo professional the product is value for money at £39.95 including P&P.

The Jute Selfie Bag

Perfect for taking selfies wherever you go. This selfie bag has everything you need to take selfies worthy of being shared on social media.

What do you get?

The Bag

An eye-catching good quality jute bag with a zip top for security. The bag is roomy and durable and has an internal selfie stick pocket.

Bluetooth Tripod Selfie Stick

The selfie stick is ideal to help you get that perfect shot of your latest outfit or one of you and your bestie. It pops away easily into the bag and is lightweight. This is a pretty handy gadget and one you’ll find useful even for general photography.

Pop Up Reflector

Just what you need to get that lighting just right. It’s easy to use and super light. The pop-up reflector folds down nicely and fits into its own little bag that hooks to the inside of the bag with the carabiner clip provided. The bag is perfect to keep it safe from dirt and damage.

LED Ring Light

Need more light? Then this will help. The LED ring light will shed some light (see what I did there LOL). The light attaches to the top of your phone easily and has three different settings to help you get the lighting just right. A lead is included in the pack so you can charge it.

What Did I Think?

Again, a great durable bag that fits everything nicely with space to spare. That would set you back about £10 as it has a cute little bag attached inside too. The clip-on selfie ring was great and does help add light to images whether it’s selfies or pictures of small items. This would have cost £9. The bluetooth selfie stick is easy to use, lightweight and as one might expect an essential for any selfie kit. It would set you back about £9 when bought individually. Last but not least the essential pop-up reflector in its own cute little bag that clips inside the jute.  The reflector would be around £7.50 This seems like a reasonably priced bag at £27.95 (includes delivery) which is far less than if you were to buy the items individually.

It’s a great kit for anyone that loves taking selfies or even simply the items included in the bag for their photography.
