(Collaborative post) You know when a new product is going to be great when it surpasses $50,000 in funding on Kickstarter within 3 days. Well, that’s what happened with GAMMA, The All-Season Jacket. It’s the latest innovation from Wear Graphene. Many of us will have a jacket for the winter and one for warmer weather but what if you could have one all-climate jacket that saw you through any and every season. It would be ideal for me with the weather I encounter on the school runs.

Let’s take a little look at the Jacket and why it has the potential to be one of the most successful Kickstarter projects of 2021.
GAMMA, The All-Climate Jacket
Sustainability
It was only last week that I was telling you all about a company that believes in quality and sustainability when I introduced you to the Balsam Upcycled Bag from Paguro. Well, Wear Graphene is another company you’ll be pleased to discover. They have created this amazing jacket that lasts a lifetime but doesn’t compromise on style. Less waste to add to the landfills!
Graphene
Graphene was first discovered in 2004. 10 years later scientists began understanding how to incorporate it into the fabric.
The all-season jacket is infused with nanoparticle graphene which is the strongest and thinnest material known to man. Graphene’s potential use in so many different products has earned it both the label “supreme graphene” and a Nobel Prize.
Wear Graphene
Wear Graphene (the leading techwear clothing brand) was one of the first companies to infuse graphene into textiles. As a result, the clothing is extremely durable, weather-resistant, bacteria-resistant, and has temperature control. Sounds good to be true, doesn’t it! Let’s delve a little deeper.
Temperature Control
The GAMMA jacket is perfect whatever the weather. The graphene has revolutionary temperature control properties that mimic the skin. It regulates the temperature depending on the environment to help you stay comfortable come snow or sun.
The graphenes latticed structure allows it to distribute heat evenly around the body when it is cold. The GAMMA conducts heat from your body and the built-in heaters and channels this through the jacket to ensure you stay nice and toasty. These heaters can be powered by any power bank. Simply plug it into the USB in the inner pocket to heat the jacket. Fear not, it won’t overheat. The heater comes with 3 temperature settings so there is no need for layering.
When the weather is warm the jacket expels heat through its permeable pores and wicks moisture to help cool the wearer.
UV Proof
Many light jackets, windbreakers, even raincoats don’t protect against harmful UV rays. These can cause skin damaged in prolonged exposure. Unlike these, the GAMMA is UV proof so it’s something you won’t have to worry about when wearing this jacket. It’s 100+ SPF rated.
Stylish, Functional, and Light Weight
The jacket has been designed to have a stylish look. It is also very functional with 10 pockets some of which are hidden. These help to keep your valuables safe whether traveling at home or abroad. The jacket only weighs 500g so it’s not going to add much weight to a suitcase and as we already mentioned it’s thin so won’t use much space either. It makes the perfect alternative to a large thick and heavy coat.
Adjustable Drawstrings and Gloves
You’ll find it easy to keep out the biting wind with the numerous drawstrings and velcro cuffs. It even has built-in fingerless gloves to keep palms warm.
Water, Snow, and Wind Resistant
Designed for use in alpine conditions this is wind, water, and snowproof. This is due to Graphene’s compact atomic bonds and Wear Graphene’s proprietary weave. You’ll even find it has water-resistant zips. The jacket is also windproof and effective for up to 50 mile per hour winds. This makes it great for biking, jogging and high altitude hiking, and skiing.

Hypoallergenic / Antimicrobial
The material is hypoallergenic and antimicrobial. The Graphene neutralises odours through ionic conduction which removes smells and neutralizing harmful substances on its surface. It’s also machine washable.
Damage Proof
