This is a fantastic bag and perfect for family days out walking.
It is great for all sorts. A useful bag to have.
I think this backpack sounds ideal for many sports and activities but also for day trips out with the family because in this country you never know when it will rain! The fact that it’s design has taken comfort as a top priority is very important if you will be wearing it for long hikes etc. The size is roomy but not over big.

My husband does a lot of bike riding with a back pack on, being able to keep things waterproof sounds like a dream, that and the added reflective areas sounds great for any cyclist out there.

The Aquaplanet Waterproof Backpack would be ideal for taking on our sit on top kayaks, its size makes it suitable to take along our towels & a picnic to venture onto hidden coves. The roll top & waterproof zip means everything would arrive dry. Having easy access to a drink with the external mesh bottle pocket will also be very useful.

I really like these dry bags. My current rucksack has a cover to protect it from the rain but that makes it very difficult to get in and out of. The roll top like on a dry bag makes this much easier.

I have been thinking a lot about my clothing and gear as the weather has turned so much colder in the past couple of weeks. I love getting out, regardless of the weather and I need to re-assess and leave accessible warmer, waterproof clothing/scarves/shoes etc! I tend to get out with my two little ones, under 5, as I want to set a good example for them to not let the weather get in the way of being outdoors – no such thing as bad weather just bad clothes etc! Of course, with little ones in tow I need to have a bag with me to carry snackes/drinks/spares and as I move on from having a buggy to stash things getting a backpack would be a great idea. Keep my hands free for them and having a fully waterproof backpack like the Aquaplanet one would be perfect for that (and for my ambitions to get into paddleboarding next summer!), so thanks for putting me in mind of it 🙂

We love our sports and whitewater kayak and canoe, surf, mountain bike and climb. It all takes a bit more thinking about now we have 2 little ones in tow but we try and get them out as often as we can and I would keep this bag for us to use as a dry bag in the canoe on journeys, to protect dry clothes in the boot when we go out mountain biking and it would be great for wet kit too!

waterproof backpacks are a great idea, can put them in the wash after a long hike.
They are easy to clean. I’m not sure about putting them in the wash. You’d need to check that first.
With the UK weather I believe all bags should be waterproof. I for one would not leave home without decent walking shoes and a waterproof jacket so why would I not think about a waterproof bag to keep my snacks, jumper, gloves, flask and sandwiches dry? Nice bag would be so handy x

Getting out into the fresh air is really good for positive mental health, and as I’m currently coping with long Covid I’m trying to build back up my walking ability to the lengths of walks I could do before. This type of rucksack is ideal for all weathers and with lots of space for all the essentials for a long walk.
