Gifting is something we often do all year around for a range of occasions. This post looks at Wellness Gifts For Your Loved Ones to help you choose gifts easily.
If you’re going to send a spontaneous treat to a loved one, you could consider a wellness gift? Self-care treats could give your family member or friend a much-needed lift.
Here are a few great ideas to get you started on purchasing wellness gifts.
Flowers
We have friends and relatives abroad so sometimes need to look at gifts that we can ensure will reach them. Flowers can be a lovely gift although not all businesses send flowers abroad. If you are looking to send flowers internationally to your loved ones then consider a company like Floraqueen. Studies show that having flowers in and around the home makes people feel happier and more positive and also reduce stress. For all of us now we are spending a lot of time at home, a bouquet could be the perfect wellness treat.
A Journal
A journal is essentially a blank notebook for a person to scribble down the way they feel, their thoughts, dreams, and so on. Although great for everyone, journals are especially beneficial for those who struggle with mental health issues such as depression. Writing grants individuals a way to compartmentalise and express their thoughts. It’s not just adults that will benefit from such a thoughtful gift, children will often enjoy journaling and benefit from having one greatly. To make it that bit more special and consider getting a personalised journal.
A Diffuser
A diffuser is an excellent way for a loved one to transform the atmosphere in their home. It acts as an aromatherapy tool as it can be used to disperse essential oils into the air. These have beneficial effects on us when used in such a way. A popular essential oil is lavender oil. Lavender promotes relaxation and sleep, something that can benefit us all at the moment.
Weighted Blanket
Multiple sources support the notion of weighted blankets for enhancing wellness. The effects of a weighted blanket are likened to those experienced through deep pressure therapy. Some of the advantages include reduced anxiety and restlessness. These have become increasingly popular over recent years.
Bath Bombs and Other Products
While bath bombs put on a pleasant display and emit a beautiful aroma, they also be beneficial to our skin as well as our mind. Good quality bath bombs will have natural skin softeners which are released into the water and act as a moisturiser. They can also include a blend of essential oils that can promote relaxation. A set of bath bombs is an excellent treat for those who enjoy indulging in a spa experience at home. You can buy a lovely range of bath treats from soaps to masks. Think about what the recipient would prefer most when choosing.
A Day Out
A day out can make a lovely gift. It’s like a break from the daily ins and outs of life. There are so many great things you can arrange for them to do on their own or with you. Think about what they enjoy. It might be a meal out, a theatre trip, a short break etc.
Painting Set
Packs of paints, art books, and brushes aren’t just for kids; adults can get just as much use out of them. From creating landscapes to experimenting with abstract art, painting allows your loved ones to express themselves on paper. Furthermore, it’s a healthy creative outlet that acts as a good distraction and relaxes the mind.
Spa Robe
You don’t need to buy a robe from an actual spa to give your loved one the spa experience. There are plenty of robes that appear and feel like those you would find at a hotel, which you can buy from high-street shops or online. All you need to do is look a robe that’s long in length, neutral in colour, weighted with a soft towel textured material. Pockets are optional but always handy.
Conclusion
Wellness treats will always be well received and loved by those who are closest to you. Whether they’re living a few doors away or the other side of the world, now and then, it’s nice to send your family or friends thoughtful gifts they can use which will enhance their wellbeing.
What do you feel would make a great wellness gift?

They do make a great gift option.
I have added some of this ideas into my kids stocking stuffers. Like bath bombs, a journal, painting sets and bath robes with slippers. Love self care items.

They do help liven up a room.
Welness has always been important for me. I always try to give this kind of gifts to my loved ones. Great list! 🙂
Thanks Natalia. It is important and a good way to theme gifts.
Giving well-being is like saying how much we care about that person, for strong health and many memories to build together!
It does show a strong element of care for the person we are gifting. You’ll find some lovely self care gifts.
I would love more essential oils! I like relaxing with them. The scents really lift up my moods.
You can never have enough, they’re wonderful!!
A weighted blanket sounds very interesting, I never heard of them. Bath bombs, painting set and a journal are great wellness gifts to give.
I really want a weighted blanket. I’ve been told they’re great!!!
What great gift ideas. I think a diffuser is always a good gift. I love them. Thank you for the inspiration.
I’m the same. There are some lovely ones available.
These are very timely gift ideas. We need items that will keep our physical, mental, and spiritual health in top condition.
We sure do. I don’t think many realise how much their mental health can be affected by various influences.
There are some great wellness gifts here. My mamma would love the spa robe, I’ll see if I can get one for her 🙂
Who doesn’t love bath bombs? It’s even better when you receive them as gifts. I just love soaking in a tub in which I’ve added a bath bomb – the smell, the colors, the hydration of the skin – all reasons to love them. I was wondering recently about weighted blankets, I would love to try one and see if I like it.
Bath bombs are always lovely.
This is a very inclusive list of physical, mental and spiritual wellness gifts. I love gifting journals and aromatherapy gifts together!
They make a great gift combination.
These are all things that I would enjoy receiving. Thanks for sharing this beautiful list.
No problem Marjie, I’m glad you liked it x
Instead of flowers, I prefer giving a plant. Especially those low maintenance plants so that it would be easy even for those who don’t have a green thumb.
That also makes a great gift. Everyone loves having plants in their homes.
This is such an interesting read. Definitely a good idea as a present since we are mostly at home nowadays so it’s a must that we pamper ourselves at home too.
It is important we look after ourselves and indulge in nice treats where we can.
If you are talking about wellness gifts these are perfect, but I am always up for flowers and bath bombs. They make me smile.
They make me smile too xxx
These are wonderful self-care gift ideas. I always bath bombs and a pretty journal is a nice idea.

These are a great idea! Feel like Im giving something more
