Sometimes it’s hard to find a gift for a partner, friend, relative etc.  Today’s post is going to help take all the stress out of choosing the right gift.  The great thing is that many gifts are unisex which really increases the odds of finding the perfect gift.

Hers His & Home Christmas Gift Guide 2019

 The Personalised Gift Shop

Many like to give a personalised gift.  Not always easy if it’s food related although the guys at  The Personalised Gift Shop do have a large range of items that can be personalised.  They make it a super easy process too which I like and technology and I do not always work well together. Who’d have thought!  Whether you’re buying a gift for him or her they’ve got you covered!

Jana Reinhardt

Aren’t these adorable!!!!

These lovely little penguins from Jana Reinhardt Jewellery make a wonderful gift any time of year.  After Monty the penguin featured in the John Lewis advert a few Christmases back penguins have been associated so much more with the festive season, making these a wonderful option as a Christmas gift.  Jewellery is one of the top selling gifts at this time of year and these cute guys will be a welcome addition to anyone’s jewellery collection.

All the pieces are handmade by a small team of master goldsmiths in the UK.

AnySharp

I love to cook and so do many of my friends.  I also find it very frustrating when my knives aren’t sharp.  Don’t you just hate that!  You then end up having to saw away at a tomato and other normally easy to cut items.  Frustrating right!  A great gift idea for anyone that is either renting or owns their own home is a knife sharpener.  There are loads on the market but one that works well and is used by many celebrity and professional chefs is the AnySharp.  This is small so is a great space saver and it’s nice and small and super easy to use.

ZeroWater

Tap water, eeeuuuuugggghhhh have you tried it lately.  It smells like pond water and doesn’t taste much better.  It doesn’t make sense to buy bottled water only for a busy household as that will be pretty costly.  For years I’ve used a water filter from a well known popular brand but recently I’ve updated mine to a filter from ZeroWater.

The ZeroWater filter is the only filter to remove 99.6% of all dissolved solids and toxins, such as lead, chlorine and mercury.  This, therefore, makes it equivalent to drinking purified bottled water.  The patented 5 step filter reduces metals, salts, pesticides and organic compounds.

Naturally, this not only makes the water healthier to drink but also results in it tasting better.

Sodastream Spirit

This fabulous device allows the user to make sparkling water from the comfort of their own home.  It’s easy to use and you can add flavour to the water after to make it more palatable for those that find it hard to drink plain water.  The Sodastream works well with the water from the aforementioned ZeroWater as the plain water tastes so much better.  This will be a popular gift for anyone that loves a little sparkle in their life – kids included!

Reusable Gifts for the Home

Many of us are making an effort to minimise our plastic waste.  The great thing is that there are far more companies producing products that can help support us in doing this by this creating wonderful reusable products.  With this in mind, the first product range from Nought was born.  Their products are made from sustainable materials like bamboo, stainless steel and organic cotton. The aim is to help create a world free of disposable plastic and for that many of us will applaud them.  The products are suitable as gifts for women and men.

Although not a particularly large range at present their products are well made, simple, stylish and useful.  Products include:

500ml Reusable Bottle

The bottle is made from high-grade stainless steel and bamboo with a food-grade silicone seal.  The BPA-free stainless steel protects the taste of your drink and is finished with a high-quality powder coating.  This is suitable for hand-wash only, and it’s not microwave-safe.

Lunchbox

You wouldn’t believe it but this is designed almost entirely from bamboo – one of the world’s most renewable materials.

The lunchbox has a capacity of 700ml and is made from both natural bamboo and bamboo fibre.  It has an elastic band and food-grade silicone seal. The bamboo has naturally anti-bacterial properties and is BPA-free.

The body is dishwasher-safe, but it is recommended that the lid is washed by hand to protect the bamboo. It’s not microwave-safe.

Leather Divan Bed

Beds are far more affordable than you might expect and can be a useful gift.  A leather divan bed is a popular option for many.  There’s nothing like a new bed with a spring memory foam mattress.  In many cases a new bed would be a very welcome gift.

Ellis James Designs

Makeup bags, cosmetic and toiletry bags are always useful gift.  Great to help us all keep our products organised as well as coming in handy if we travel.  Ellis James Designs have some lovely sophisticated items over on their site that are ideal as gifts.

Items like the:

Black Quilted Hanging Toiletry Organiser

There are plenty of pockets in this organiser to store all your toiletries.  This has a hook design so you can hang it up easily and there is a useful detachable pouch.  Handy for home use or when travelling.

Makeup Train Case

This makeup case has 12 slots of varying sizes for brushes or tools.  There is one large main compartment which has 4 removable velcro dividers to use as required.  Like the organiser this too has a removable pouch which can come in quite handy.
