I have a passion for cooking and have been cooking and creating recipes for years. I love cakes but can be very fussy when it comes to density of sponge etc. and find that cakes sold in some shops don’t always meet my standards. As a result I started baking. I was using an old hand help whisk but found as some of my cakes needed quite a bit of whisking this would restrict me as I would have to just stay in one place and whisk, also my arm would ache after a little while so I was over the moon when I discovered a Russell Hobbs Creations Kitchen Machine was on its way.
I wanted to make a few cakes first before telling you all about this lovely piece of Kitchen equipment that I believe all bakers would appreciate. Whether you are making cakes or bread the Russell Hobbs Creations Kitchen Machine will save you time as you can collect together the other ingredients as it whisks, and of course this saves your arms from aching. Boasting a 4.6 litre stainless steel bowl, the Kitchen Creation Machine allows you to make more than one cake at a time, although obviously it needs to be the same one. It looks impressive and is a solid piece of equipment that is sure to last. I loved the fact that it had a splash guard. This meant that for the first time in my life I wasn’t going to become engulfed in clouds of flour or icing sugar or covered in batter whilst making my cakes as my kids have a tendency of pulling at me to get my attention. There are non-slip feet which are great, having been used to having to hold a bowl in one hand and a whisk in the other. The variable speed control comes in useful, enabling one to create the most amazing pavlova’s and also meaning you are less likely to over beat your cream toppings. There is a whisk, dough hook and beater to cover just about everything that you could need to do and if that wasn’t enough they also include a 1.25 litre glass jug blender. So far I have used everything except for the blender. Here are just some of the cakes I have made so far:
A Hello Kitty Vanilla Sponge Cake:
A Chocolate and Amaretto Torte:
A vanilla Sponge Princess Cake:
and approx. 15 Pavlovas!
I made Olive Bread Rolls too but unfortunately the camera needed charging so there were non left when it was ready to take pictures.
For those wanting more attachments you can also get a meat grinder, vegetable shredder and pasta maker to go with the Creations Kitchen Machine.
This lovely piece of kitchen equipment that all bakers / budding bakers should not be without can be found at Argos. To find out more about Russell Hobbs and their products, including the Creations Kitchen Machine pop over too to their website.
