Joe & Seph’s Gourmet Popcorn

One would never assume that in such an ordinary looking brown box was something rather extraordinary!  Having been a popcorn lover since before I can remember when a parcel arrived with a sweet and savoury pack of Joe & Seph’s Gourmet Popcorn it made my day.
This multi award winning popcorn has won a number of “Great Taste” Gold awards and having now tried their products I can see why.  These guys appear to be pushing the boundaries of popcorn flavours further afield with offerings of flavours such as ‘Gin & Tonic’ (yes is does say Gin & Tonic), Peanut butter, Madras Curry, Strawberry Cheesecake and sooooo many more!!!
I tried the savoury flavour first:
French Goats cheese & Malabar Black Pepper.

As I looked to see the fastest way into the pack I discovered there was an easy tear open top and it was resealable, lol, not that it was going to need resealing after the hubby & kids got wind of it!
Packet top ripped off, next opening and enjoying the aroma just as it says on the pack.  A rich cheesy aroma wafted up, yummy.  On tasting it there is a lovely cheesy flavour that is followed by a mild pepper kick.  On the front of the packaging it says this is “Delightfully creamy” I was curious to see how they would manage this and here is how: the cheesy coating appears to melt in the mouth, the popcorn does not have the normal hard crunch found in popcorn although it is still crunchy, it’s absolutely fantastic and seriously moorish.  As I type this I am struggling to actually tear myself away from the packet and stop eating it so I can try the next flavour.  Help arrived in a mini package, my youngest daughter has just stolen the packet from me and ran off.  Well I won’t see that again with any popcorn in it.
Next was the Caramel with rich Belgian Chocolate.
Combining two of my favourite sweet flavours could go either way but on tasting I’m in heaven, a perfect marriage of caramel and milk chocolate which is sweet but not sickly sweet.   This popcorn has a nice crunch to it as you would expect from popcorn and again is on the addictive side.
Gone in 60 seconds!
To add a bit more crunch to your popcorn you can even heat it in the oven for 6 minutes at approx. 75 degrees depending on your oven.  I didn’t get to try this unfortunately as I ran out of popcorn but it’s on my list of things to do when I get some more in.
Joe & Seph’s popcorn is air popped which is great as it means less calories, lets face it most of us calorie count these days.  Talking from experience air popping popcorn ensures the best texture and flavour.  All ingredients that are used are natural and make Joe & Seph’s popcorn taste absolutely delicious.
This incredibly yummy popcorn can be purchased online or from one of their stockists.
