Handmade Naturals always strive to use the best possible ingredients. They also ensure that all the ingredients used are safe. There are a large number of aromatic and perfume chemicals commonly used in the industry that over time can be harmful to us with constant use. Handmade Naturals screen all ingredients and do plenty of research into them before using them in their products so you can rest assured these are safe to use.

Rose and Shea Eye Cream
Veggie Awards Winner in 2019 and Commended in the Beauty Shortlist Awards 2022
This small yet mighty eye cream is the perfect product to be used on the delicate skin around the eyes. This has numerous antiageing ingredients that will really help improve skin structure and more. These include:
Unrefined Avocado Oil
Vitamin rich and packed with essential fatty acids this is a great addition to many skincare products. It fights the signs of ageing and is great as a moisturiser.
Unrefined Rosehip Seed Oil
This is rich in vitamins A, B, D and E. In clinical trials, vitamin A has been shown to stimulate fibroblast cells. These cells promote an increase in collagen and elastin in the skin, and cellular turnover (replacing dead cells with younger cells). It’s also a great moisture booster.
Virgin Organic African Shea Butter
This unrefined shea butter is free from bleaching agents, preservatives & additives. It is high in fatty acids. As a result, it moisturises the skin and helps soften and smooth dry skin. It is also anti-inflammatory so is wonderful for those with eczema as it absorbs quickly and forms a protective layer. It also contains vitamins A and E making it efficient in helping reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Rejuvenating Anti-Oxidant Face & Neck Serum
The Green Parent Awards 2019
Have wrinkles, lines, sagging, dull, skin with poor tone and poor elasticity? Then this is just what you need!
Argan Oil
This is ideal for all skin types as the oil isn’t too heavy or too light. It regulates the amount of sebum on the skin so is great for those with acne. The oil contains vitamin A and E which are ideal for improving the appearance and the feel of our skin. Their antioxidant properties help fight free radicals which when left unaddressed cause a breakdown in collagen, leading to wrinkling, fine lines, dark spots and saggy skin.
Baobab Oil
This contains vitamins A, D, E and F. It also contains omega 3, 6 and 9. These combined give baobab oil a great range of properties including antioxidant, collagen restoration, soothing, healing, nourishing, and promoting new skin cell production.
Rice Bran Oil
This is a lovely addition to the mix. Vitamin B is found in various forms in the oil; Thiamine (B1) and Niacin (B3), as well as Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) and B6. These all have antioxidant properties and as we know they fight signs of ageing. Vitamin B also has soothing properties so helps alleviate eczema, sunburn etc. It also improves skin hydration and evens out hyperpigmentation and has protective properties. Vitamin E also helps soothe and protect the skin. It can also rehydrate skin and has an anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing effect.
There are various other active ingredients in rice bran oil that give amazing results. These include antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, speeding up healing, promoting cell turnover and circulation where applied, reducing puffiness and uneven skin tone, reducing the appearance of dark under-eye circles, protecting against UV rays and more.
Kahai Oil (aka Cacay Oil)
Trails have shown this to get great for those looking for anti-ageing products. The oil contains vitamin A, E and F. Trials have shown this oil to be effective at improving skin hydration, elasticity, firmness and smoothness. It’s important to note that this oil contains far more vitamin E and Linoleic Acid than Argan oil. It also has 3 times more vitamin A (a natural form of retinol) than rosehip oil making Kahai Oil a bit of a wonder product.

Super Hydrating Face Cream
Commended in the Beauty Shortlist Awards 2022
Dry skin will be a thing of the past with this great moisturiser, plus it fights the signs of ageing too.
Unrefined Avocado Oil
This wonderfully nourishing oil is a treasure trove of useful skin enhancing ingredients. It contains high quantities of vitamins A, B1, B2, D, and E. Combined, these vitamins help to nourish, boost collagen production, fight free radicals, reduce inflammation, heal and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Argan Oil
An ideal addition as it hydrates and moisturises the skin due to the fatty acid content. This oil also works well to soften skin and helps skin maintain its youthfulness thanks to its antioxidant properties. This can also help brighten your skin where there is excessive pigmentation. The oil also has anti-inflammatory properties so can help reduce puffiness around the eyes.
Frankincense
I’ve not seen this used often in skincare products but Frankincense is a useful addition. This has astringent properties which means it helps regulate skin sebum and so would be advisable for those with acne. It also has a rejuvenating effect as it tightens skin, therefore reducing sagging and the appearance of wrinkles, evens the complexion, encourages the formation of new cells and helps increase circulation which in turn promotes elasticity.

Unscented Hand & Body Lotion
Janey Loves Platinum Award Winner 2019
It’s not just the skin on our face we need to look after. Out hands get a considerable amount of sun exposure and can give away our age. Areas of our body that also get plenty of sun exposure are the face, neck and upper chest area (decolletage) and our hands. In order to look after them and slow down the signs of ageing, we need to use the right products.
Sweet Almond Oil
The vitamin E in this oil has multiple benefits. It protects from UV radiation which really important as we often neglect the back of our hands unless it’s really hot. Its antioxidant effect helps fight signs of ageing helping reduce the appearance of wrinkles and making skin look smooth. This oil softens the skin thanks to the oleic and linoleic acid, This oil is great for skin issues like eczema, itching, inflammation etc.
Plum Kernel Oil
This nourishing oil helps boost skin moisture levels and leaves it feeling more supple. It has antioxidant properties which help reduce visible signs of ageing by fighting off free radicals which cause cell damage and also helps with cell repair and cell turnover. It also brightens up the skin complexion to leave a lovely healthy glow.
Virgin Cocoa Butter
Not only does this give more mature skin the moisture boost it often needs it also forms a protective barrier to minimise moisture loss. Naturally high in vitamin E, this fights the signs of ageing and helps skin appear more hydrated and brighter.
Face Cleansing Scrub
Beauty Shortlist Awards 2020 Commended
Full of great natural ingredients this award-winning product is both cruelty-free and vegan. The facial scrub is both gentle on the skin and very effective especially when it comes to improving the appearance of your skin. Some of the great ingredients in this product include:
Bamboo Extract
The bamboo works wonders in this product. Bamboo extract is the richest source of silica available. This helps the skin absorb essential minerals that the skin needs to stay healthy. Importantly, silica is required for the synthesis of collagen. The result is skin that looks firmer and has a more youthful appearance. Studies have shown silica to increase the skin’s elasticity, texture, and level of hydration, and reduce the visible signs of ageing. Alongside this, bamboo also contains antioxidants which are important in protecting the skin from UV damage and free radicals. These antioxidants allow the skin to self-repair and reduce some of the visible damage caused (small lines on the skin).
Unrefined Avocado Oil
This as we’ve seen is great to nourish skin and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines.
Plum Kernel Oil
This oil is rich in oleic and linoleic acids. They are combined to moisturise, nourish and calm the skin. The result is healthy skin with a glowing complexion. Vitamin E boosts the skin’s ability to heal and also helps prevent the deterioration of collagen.
Sweet Orange Oil
Not only does this smell gorgeous it also has healing and antibacterial properties so it’s ideal for acne-prone skin. Sweet orange oil contains vitamin C and is great for reducing dark spots, and blemishes on the skin as well as fighting free radicals and reducing signs of ageing. It also helps control excess oil, reduces the size of pores, firms the skin, boosts circulation to the skin and promotes cell growth and also collagen synthesis.

Rhassoul & Strawberry Face Mask
Natural Beauty Awards 2015 Winner
Another award-winning product from Handmade Naturals. This face mask’s key ingredient is Rhassoul, a mineral-rich clay. The clay is commonly used in face masks as it draws out impurities from the skin leaving it feeling soft and pores looking noticeably smaller. It even improves skin elasticity!!!! You see, every product in this post has great antiaging benefits. The mask also helps leave skin feeling softer and smoother.
The mineral content of this also makes it an effective product for use on our hair and scalp. It cleanses, conditions, and detangles. The natural silica has an exfoliating effect. After use hair is soft, silky, manageable and glossy.
