Tatty Puppy made its debut at Hamleys on Sunday and guess who was there! Having been a Tatty Bear fan since I was a little girl I was excited to hear about the the new character launch. I still own a number of Tatty Bears and other items from the range at home and it appears that both my daughters seem to have inherited a love for the cute and cuddly teddy.
There were fun activities arranged for a handful of press and bloggers for a private event before the store opened. Whilst outside I got chatting to another mother who turned out to be the Natalie Cassidy who had played Sonya in the Soap ‘Eastenders’ and her cute little girl Eliza. I totally embarrassed myself as I didn’t realise who she was at first as her little girl looked like another bloggers little one so of course, I ask “Are you a blogger too” Duh!!!! I will add, what a really nice friendly lady she was not one of those self-obsessed tv types, a genuinely lovely person!
Anyway enough of the celebrity spotting back to the fantastic event. Children could go on a treasure hunt to find all the characters in the Tatty Teddy & My Blue Nose Friends range, join in arts and crafts activities, see the new Tatty Puppy interactive toy in action and have their faces painted to look like a Tatty character.
My daughter and her friend had a great time running around the store looking at the various toys on the shelves.

My favourite still has to be the ‘original’ tatty teddy. The amount of choice there is now though is immense. My daughter absolutely loves her flamingo for example!
