Your go-to guide for dance floors, sunsets, and amazing nights out.

When the Season Starts (and Ends)

Ibiza usually kicks off with fabulous grand opening parties in late April. This year, Ushuaïa Ibiza announced its Opening Party for Saturday, 26 April 2025, marking the island’s official return to dance-floor life. Expect huge headliners, festival-sized production, and a sea of smiling faces. Closings arrive in late September and the first week of October, with Hï and Ushuaïa wrapping things up in style.

Sunday Nights: Glitterbox at Hï Ibiza

If you love feel-good house, disco, and a crowd that actually dances, Glitterbox is your night. It owns Sundays at Hï Ibiza all season long, with dazzling performers, sing-along moments, and a lineup that blends legends with modern favorites. The run stretches from early May to early October, so you’ll almost always find a date that fits.

You’ll get to enjoy uplifting music, A-list guests, and world-class sound and lights in the club ranked #1 globally.

Saturdays (Daytime): ANTS at Ushuaïa

By day, the island’s open-air heavyweight Ushuaïa turns into an industrial playground for ANTS. The 2025 theme, ANTS METALWORKS, brings massive staging and fierce underground sounds from house, tech house, and techno. It runs every Saturday from 3 May to 4 October, so you can plan a whole trip around it.

The daytime energy, the monumental stage by the pool, and a crowd that knows their music.

Calvin Harris at Ushuaïa

Big-room anthems under open skies? Calvin Harris returned for a blockbuster 2025 with 25 dates and a double residency at the same venue—a first for Ibiza. If you want the “hands-in-the-air, sing the hook with thousands of people” feeling, this is your ticket.

Enjoy world-famous hits, huge production, and the kind of crowd energy you’ll remember for years.

Mondays: Circoloco at DC-10

Circoloco is a rite of passage for underground fans. It runs Mondays at DC-10, pulling serious selectors and a loyal global crowd. Expect tight dance floors, raw energy, and a music-first vibe that helped define the island’s culture for decades.

The history, credibility, and cutting-edge line-ups that set trends across the scene.

Amnesia Highlights: BRESH on Saturdays

Looking for a colourful, sing-along, all-genres party with a modern twist? BRESH now takes over Saturdays at Amnesia for the 2025 season, blending pop, Latin, and club bangers with big production and surprise guests. It’s become one of the island’s most in-demand nights.

This has huge crossover appeal, striking visuals, and a different flavour from Ibiza’s usual techno-heavy calendar.

Daylife: O Beach Ibiza

Not every Ibiza memory happens at 3 a.m. O Beach packs a daytime punch with poolside shows, themed productions, and upbeat house that feels like summer bottled. Their calendar includes crowd favourites like ON111 and SIN Sundays, and it’s a great pick for groups who want vibey daytime plans.

You’ll enjoy sun, spectacle, and a social atmosphere where the party meets pool club comfort.

Hï Ibiza Weekly Heavyweights

Beyond Sundays, Hï runs a full weekly roster with big residencies and serious closing parties. Expect names like Black Coffee, The Martinez Brothers, Joseph Capriati’s Metamorfosi, and Our House (Meduza & James Hype). If you want late-night polish and a modern super club experience, this is your North Star.

The pristine sound, immersive rooms, and line-ups built for peak-time drama.

Opening & Closing Party Culture

If you can swing it, aim for opening weekend for raw excitement, or closing week for deeper setlists and emotional finales. Ushuaïa and Hï often coordinate giant openers and closers that define the whole season. In 2025, the buzz started on 26 April, and the closings cluster around the first week of October—perfect for one last dance under warm skies.

How to Plan Your Perfect Ibiza Night

Buy Early

Top events sell out, especially in July and August. Official club calendars and ticket pages list every date. Make sure that you bookmark them and plan ahead.

Day vs. Night

Mix Ushuaïa by day (ANTS, Calvin Harris) with Hï by night (Glitterbox, Black Coffee, Our House). It balances your energy and lets you experience both sides of Playa d’en Bossa.

 Respect the rules

Most venues are 18+ only, and security checks IDs. Don’t risk being turned away. make sure you bring valid photo ID.

Get Around Smart

Taxis and rideshares can spike at peak hours. If you’re hopping from day to night (Ushuaïa → Hï is a quick walk), plan your route and meet points in advance.

(Tip: hydrate, pack light, and wear shoes you can actually dance in.)

 Pace yourself

Two or three marquee events across a long weekend beats five rushed nights. Let one major party be the centrepiece, then add a pool day or sunset session.

Sample 3-Night Itinerary

Friday

Land, recharge, and hit Hï late. If it’s running, Metamorfosi (Joseph Capriati) or Black Coffee will give you that big-room, late-night wow factor.)

Saturday

ANTS at Ushuaïa from mid-afternoon through sunset, then dinner and an early night—unless Calvin Harris is on, in which case you’ll probably rally.

Sunday

Pool brunch, O Beach daytime fun, then Glitterbox to close the weekend on a high. If you’re staying longer, fold in Circoloco at DC-10 on Monday, or catch BRESH at Amnesia on Saturday for a pop-leaning switch-up.

Final Thoughts

Ibiza is more than just a party island. It’s a full-season soundtrack of friends, sunsets, and dance floors that feel like home.

Whether you’re chasing disco joy at Glitterbox, underground heat at Circoloco, big-room fireworks with Calvin Harris, or the daytime buzz of ANTS and O Beach, this season has a lane with your name on it.

Book early, pace your nights, and let the island do the rest. See you under the lights.

Pardon me, I am not familiar with Ibiza and only heard it in titles on Netflix. But reading through your blog, it sounds like a lot of people and partying. I’m not quite sure I can handle it but maybe I can experience it one day soon. I don’t think we have that here.

    1. Melanie Edjourian

There are different things you can do there. Partying is just one. There are quieter parts to the Island. Some of the options can be far more chill
