Croatia’s 2,000 islands, islets, and reefs are an attractive feature for avid sailors. In fact, Croatia is one of the best sailing destinations you could consider. The best time to do this is from June to August. Exploring this incredible country by boat is a great way to truly immerse yourself in the unforgettable scenery, the unspoiled bays, and the myriad of islands that Croatia offers. There are some must-see places including Korcula, Lucice Bay and Brac.
Amazing Snorkelling
With its clear waters, an abundance of marine life, reefs, ancient ruins, and underwater caves, you’ll have plenty to discover whilst snorkelling. The sea is warmest in July and August, which coincidentally is also a great time to sail there too. Some of the best places to consider when looking to snorkel in Croatia include Brijuni National Park, Rovinj and Losinj. You will see a wide range of sea creatures from dolphins, squid, starfish, jellyfish, sponges, scorpion fish, sea bass and more.
