A Gorgeous Nourishing Gift Set for the Hands

The cold weather over winter can play havoc with our skin. Drinking water alone isn’t adequate to keep our skin on our hands hydrated as it bears the brunt of the cold winds when we forget to wear our gloves. Then indoors the heating also conspires against our skin further increasing the loss of fluid and leaving hands dry, flaky, and sometimes with parts becoming cracked and sore. Thankfully Seams have the perfect secret weapon.

Blue Bag Trio

This wonderful gift set is just what you need to help combat dry hands from the harsh outdoors and dry warmth indoors. The bag has a cute, stylish design, perfect to reuse. It contains a Couturiers Hand Cream 75ml, Silk Touch Cuticle, Hand & Nail Oil 28ml, and Hand Sanitiser 50ml.

Couturiers Hand Cream

This cream was originally made for use by seamstresses so they could ease their dry, pinpricked hands without leaving marks on fabrics from the cream. The cream absorbs quickly into the skin and nourishes and softens the skin, locking in much needed moisture. This makes it ideal for the winter months when hands are constantly exposed to dry heat from the indoors and drying cold wind from outdoors.

Silk Touch Cuticle, Hand & Nail Oil

This multipurpose oil is great and ideal to use in the winter when our hands and nails need extra TLC. Thanks to the ingredients this is ideal for moisturising the hands, nails and cuticles. It has a light scent that doesn’t linger and absorbs well into the skin so there is no greasy residue. It can also be used on dry knees, elbows and heels.

Tote Bag Duo

This is a lovely gift set that comes with a Couturiers Hand Cream 75ml, Silk Touch Cuticle, Hand & Nail Oil 28ml, and an  Organic Cotton Tote Bag. It makes a lovely gift option like the Blue Bag Trio for gifting any time of year but more so in the cooler months. These are, followed by rich spice, apple and figs, and has a delightfully smooth finish. This has been created to replace whisky in cocktails rather than to be drunk neat. Clean W was a Gold Award Winner in the Casual Dining Innovation Challenge 2022. Why not grab yourself a glass, add ice, some Clean W, sugar syrup, and Angostura bitters and you have yourself an old fashioned. It’s easy to use, simply replace the whisky part of any cocktail with Clean W and you are well on your way to becoming a mocktail mixologist.

The World’s Smallest Uno

Miniatures of toys and games can be very popular amongst both adults and children. For any mini fan, The World’s Smallest Uno would make a toy for anyone to discover hidden in their stocking this Christmas. This is literally a small version of the much loved Uno that most of us know and love. It would make a novel gift that would also be great for use when you travel. It’s small and therefore lighter than the original and takes up far less space too.

This is a great game that is easy to play. You need to compete to see who can get rid of their hand of cards first. You’ll need to match colours and numbers to get rid of your cards. This is suitable for ages 3+ due to the small parts.

The World’s Smallest Magic 8 Ball

Another great mini option that is just as great a stocking filler as The World’s Smallest Uno is  The World’s Smallest Magic 8 Ball. This too is small so easy and light to transport. It fits in a pocket easier for on the go use. Suitable for kids and adults the world’s smallest magic 8 will help you with your decision making. Simply ask it a question, give it a shake and then look at the window to see what answer out of various options will appear.

Get Lit LED Tri Colour Face Mask

LED face masks have been in exceptionally high demand as of late with our quest to look younger as easily as possible. For those looking for a reasonably priced face mask look no further. The Get Lit LED Tri Colour Face Mask from Magnitone was named the best value LED mask by The Independent. “Within a week of regular use, we saw a brighter complexion with faded blemishes, especially after using the yellow option.”

It is easy to use and targets wrinkles, dull skin as well as blemishes. This is lightweight, portable, and extremely comfortable. This will catapult your home home facials to the next level and then some. This device uses red, yellow, and blue light.

The red light improves the firmness of the skin a visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. it leaves the skin with a more radiant glow.

Yellow light helps stimulate blood flow to the skin. It is also perfect for reducing inflammation that may be caused by thread veins, rosacea, or sensitivity.

The blue light targets oil producing follicles. This makes them less active resulting in less acne. The light reduces congestion below the skin’s surface. With regular use, it can be ideal to treat spots, and blemishes and also to reduce the appearance of scars.

A Stunning Occasion Dress

If you’re looking for a dress to wear to a Christmas party or something special to give as a gift then look no further. You can’t go wrong with a dress that is stylish, elegant and sophisticated. I have been looking at the beautiful dresses over at Ever Pretty in preparation for the Christmas party season which will be coming up all too soon and honestly, I was shocked at how reasonable the prices are. It’s not just the prices that are good, there are a wide range of dress styles and colours to suit all tastes.

My favourites from the site include the Stunning V Neck Lace & Chiffon Wedding Guest Dresses for Women, Elegant V Neck A Line Chiffon Maxi Bridesmaid Dresses, and Halter Neck Sleeveless Side Slit Evening Dress pictured left to right below. Each is pretty, and feminine, and would work well worn to a range of occasions not just weddings. Aren’t they stunning!!! It’s hard to choose just one but to be honest, and with those prices you can get away with buying a few dresses and it will hardly make a dent in your wallet.

A Stunning Bouquet of Flowers

Flowers can be a wonderful gift any time of year. They are such a lovely way to show that you care and can really brighten up someone’s day. You can get a wide variety of floral bouquet designs in the lead up to Christmas and these can make lovely gifts. Alternatively, by them a massive bunch of their favourite flowers. Over at Flowwow there are a wide range of dazzling floral options including bouquets, flowers in a box, they also have cakes, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and other gift options to choose from on the site. This site features a selection of local florists and pastry shops, craft brands, and businesses that offer same-day delivery to thousands of customers globally.

I love the Ice Queen bouquet from their Christmas options. This is a spectacular selection of flowers beautifully combined to create a floral bouquet worthy of center stage in any room in your home. This bouquet has 13 beautiful large white roses, 5 pristine white carnations, and 10 Christmas decorative pieces that really add to its appeal. There are more lovely options coming soon to this section but currently, you will also find some great wreaths, perfect to hang on your front door, a wall, or to use as a table centerpiece.

The Perfect Gift for a Home Cook

I’m very much a foodie. I love to review restaurants and also create my own dishes. Even if I’ve just eaten, I can still talk about food nonstop for ages. If you have a friend as obsessed with food as me, and let’s face it most of us are now these days, then you’ll do well to look at Mason Cash for Christmas gift inspiration. Mason Cash have a fabulous range of options including utensils, pudding basins, oven and bakeware, mixing bowls, food preparation accessories, dinnerware, cake decorating products, and more. All of their items are lovingly designed in England and are popular not just in the UK, but worldwide.

Classic Kitchen Grey Rectangular Baker

I really love their baking dishes. Sizes are varied so you can choose one that will suit your family’s requirements. These are well-designed with thick sides and look great. I have a few myself and I’m sure many who cook regularly will find them a perfect addition to their collection. Their Classic Kitchen Grey Rectangular Baker 31cm is just right for when I make my Beef, Aubergine, and Avocado Bake for myself, the hubby, and my eldest. It’s a great-sized dish and ideal for bakes, roasts, hot pots etc.

More Great Gift Options

Mason Cash also have a great selection of mixing bowls. These come in a range of sizes, designs, and also colours. They are ideal for making cakes, bread, pastry, cookie dough mixes, etc. Another great option that works well with this is their innovative kitchen spatula, combine the two for a gift for a lovely gift for home bakers. One last mention is In the Meadow set of 4 bowls which are not just super cute but very handy. Add in measured ingredients so they are ready to add to dishes. They are handy, don’t take up much space, and look great too.

Knives the Essential We All Need

Kitchen products can make great gifts if, of course, the item is something that the recipient would be able to make use of. A good kitchen knife is essential. But, one knife doesn’t work for everything. Anyone that cooks regularly will probably have a favourite knife. But, you’ll also know that knives of different lengths, and shapes with different blade shapes will be better for different items. I find I prefer a different type of knife to cut raw meat to the type I would use to cut vegetables for instance. This is why I think the Assure Colour Code Knife Block & Board Set from Viners would make the perfect gift for, well any adult that has their own home. As an added bonus it’s on sale, so perfect if you are buying your Christmas gifts early like me this year.

Assure Colour Code Knife Block & Board Set

The set comes with 1 x 8″ 20cm Chef’s Knife, 1 x 8″ 20cm Carving Knife, 1 x 6″ 15.5cm Sanoktu Knife and 1 x 5″ 12.5cm Utility Knife. As well as the knifes the set includes 4 x 18 x 25 x1.5cm Wooden Chopping Boards. The red is for raw meat, blue for fish, yellow for cooked meats, and green for fruit and veg. This set has all the knives you could need no matter what you are cooking. It’s also a great way to remind you what chopping board and knife to use with different foods to make cutting items far easier. The chopping boards and knives all slot in together nicely to help minimise the space it takes up in the kitchen. It also means everything can be easily accessible for quick and easy use.

Clothing for Men

With the weather getting so much colder and wetter it’s important to make sure you have wardrobe staples to suit. My husband, like most men, seems to wear out clothing pretty fast so I tend to keep an eye out for items he needs replacing or updating. At this time of year, the obvious essentials are items that will keep them warm and dry. I found the perfect items over at Tog24. Here I was spoilt with a wonderful range of options, guaranteed to keep my husband nice and warm whilst on his various work adventures. Having looked through these options I finally decided that I had to get him the following items for Christmas:

Aberford Beanie Hat

This hat is not just simple and stylish, it will help keep in that much needed heat over the winter months. Plus, my husband is a bu**er for losing his hats and so I was even happier when I discovered that this was currently on sale from £20 down to £14. I’m now thinking of getting him two. One to wear and the other as a backup for when he inadvertently loses the first. These hats are stylish and a classic hat for teh winter period. It comes in one size and one colour which is perfect as a warm hat in black is what I am looking for. This is perfect for older male teens and older.

Airton Mens Waterproof Jacket

Another wonderful option for gifting this Christmas is the Airton Mens Waterproof jacket to keep them warm from the bitter wind and also dry from the sudden rain showers and the bigger downpours that frequent the UK at this time of year. The jacket is also breathable, taped to prevent water from getting in, has a water repellant coating, hidden zips as well as other great features. This would be a well-received and very practical gift – I know some prefer to give practical items that will be used. This will see them through the winter and spring and would make a great gift.

Wines of Italy Puzzle

Puzzles can be a great way to relax and unwind. There are so many puzzle options we are spoilt for choice when choosing. I do like to make sure that when selecting any gift it is well tailored for the giftee. As a result, the Wines of Italy Puzzle really stood out for a friend of mine. She enjoys playing various games and we often play various games when we visit her. She is also an avid wine connoisseur but instead of wine I thought that an appropriately themed puzzle would be a great gift option. This puzzle is made up of 1000 colourful pieces and features everyone’s favourite wine regions in Spain and Portugal as well as show them a few they may have yet to discover.
