Christmas Gift Guide 2020 Part 2

Disclaimer: My Christmas Gift Guide 2020 Part 2 contains a range of gifts, some of which may have been gifted, won or bought by me.

It also contains a FAB competition!!!!!

Hello and welcome to my Christmas Gift Guide 2020 Part 2!!!!  I simply couldn’t squeeze everything into one guide as it would have been far too overwhelming so I’ve split it between a few guides.

I’ve even more wonderful things to share with you in this post.  In case you are still in need of gifting inspiration.  We all know that 1 person that is super hard to buy from.  I hope really that one of my gift guides inspires you so that your Christmas shopping is as relaxed and easy as possible.

Christmas Gift Guide 2020 Part 2

A Gift Set Or Goodie Selection from an Award Winning Beauty Company

I’m amazed it took me so long to discover No Secrets.  A lovely little company that is growing in both product range and popularity.  This company, set up by a lovely lady called Lorna (trust me you’ll love her too when you read this) uses the finest natural ingredients in their products.  Their ethos “Pure, honest, plant-based beauty with no hidden nasties” is one that appeals to more and more of us each day.  The products have the luxury feel of high-end products making them perfect for gifting any time of year to a loved one or even yourself.  We are all supposed to be working on self-care and what better way than a lovely natural beauty treat!

trendhim

There are all sorts of great gift ideas for men over on the trendhim website.  You’ll find pocket squares, ties and bow ties to help them finish off an outfit.  Some are even Christmas themed with candy canes or Christmas trees. You’ll also discover other items that can be personalised including card holders, rings, watches, cufflinks and more.

One of the items that caught my eye was the RFID wallets (ensuring cards are not scannable from any distance) so avoiding card cloning.  These come in loads of styles and colours and make the perfect gift for your significant other. I know this would come in handy for my husband as a Christmas gift.

A Beer Selection

Trying new beers is something both my husband, father, brother in laws and other men in my life seem to really enjoy.  It’s always nice to try something different and you can taste the quality in a good product.  Why not gift them something a little different to delight their taste buds. You want to make sure you’re giving a great gift so it would be wise to consider realale.com who have been an official supplier to M&S for the last 10 years.  Nothing says good quality than that, does it!  These guys sell their wares online and also through 3 stores.

You’ll find beers including traditional ales, Belgian, even Christmas options as well as wines and spirits.  I thought as a treat the guys coming for Christmas and my husband of course could enjoy one of the 12 Beers Of Christmas sets. This contains a very varied selection of pale ale, bitter stout etc.  I on the other hand have my eye on their Solara Orange Wine (an Orange Wine that is made without the use of chemical additives.)  Now doesn’t that sound lovely?

Puzzles for the Kids

Kids love puzzles. They’re really good fun and can keep them busy for long periods of time, great for the kids and even better for us parents.  Earlier this year we were sent some great dinosaur puzzles which my son loved.  These puzzles have been made over and over.  He’s now even raced his sisters to see who could make theirs fastest.  They are great to develop hand-eye coordination and finger strength.  Playing with a puzzle also reduces screen time!!!

A Harry Potter Real Sorting Hat

It’s not just for kids!!! I know plenty of adult Harry Potter fans that would love this too.  The hat moves and talks, just like the one in the movie.  It’s a must for any Harry Potter fan to have in their collection.  You’ll find this is stocked in a number of places so should be fairly easy to get hold of.

A Nice New Bottle

For those always on the go, a brand new bottle can make a great gift.  Many of us know we don’t drink enough water and part of that is we don’t have it on hand. When we make things easier for ourselves we are far more able to carry them out.  The bottle below has a strap and is BPA free and perfect for keeping onhand to help stay hydrated.

Reading Lamp

We were sent a light to review that really impressed us.  Ever since then I’ve been telling friends and family all about the Benq Wit e-reading lamp.  It’s a great gift idea for anyone that loves to read or uses their computer often at home but doesn’t have sufficient lighting for either.

A Cookery Book

I have a friend that loves to cook.  She’s watching what she eats and so I thought a good cookery book would be ideal.  I often buy gifts, hide them, forget I have them. How silly am I!!!!  Thankfully I finally found this, so it’s a few years late, but better late than never.  A book from a chef you know your friend likes or that creates foods they’ll love is a great gift or addition to a gift bundle.

A Personalised Hamper

Hampers can be purchased from many different places but the best hampers are often ones we’ve made ourselves.  It’s not hard to make your own.  If you need a few ideas though as to where to start then why not read my post How to Create a Personalised Hamper.  Here you’ll get some great ideas to help get you started.

A Nut Cracker Tin

If you don’t have the time to create your own hamper then something like this tin full of goodies can be a lovely gift idea.  Full of a range of sweet treats this is a nice gift for a member of the family or friend.  You’ll find it over on the Moonpig website.  The tin makes a great keepsake and can be used to store Christmas safely decorations.

My Christmas Gift Guide 2020 Part 2 also features a fabulous competition!  I have 3 companies featured here taking part nosecretsbeauty, trendhim and realale.com

  94. christine reid

I like the selection of ideas, particularly the ideas for a personal hamper.

  95. Laura Corrall

Again more great great ideas. I love finding new things. That lamp looks so futuristic and fancy, but would be great for when I sit in a corner on my laptop with little light.

  96. Penny Lane

These are wonderful gift ideas, especially the hampers, customisable for almost everyone!

  97. Anthea Holloway

I love the idea of creating a personalised hamper as a gift and your ideas are really good. I was given a hamper like this for Christmas and it was very meaningful and just right for me!

  98. Susanne Galley

Fabulous ideas as there is really something for everyone in there – Dad, husband, brother-in-law. Not just for Christmas but I can already see some fab birthday presents. I love especially the hamper and I know hubby would love the beers. I would also look more into the beauty products as men need to look after their skin too and as he is not buying skin products himself it is always easier to give them as gift as he is then feeling kind of obliged to use it. A bit sneaky but it works.

  99. Deborah Hambleton

I find it such a struggle to think of things to buy people for Christmas and a post like this is really good for giving ideas. You get sick of the same old gifts and It’s great to see something different.

    1. admin

Gifting can be hard any time of year. It helps to have a few ideas to consider.

  100. Amanda

Some great ideas here. My friend is always complaining that his drinks bottle tastes of plastic so a bpa free one could be a good option and safer for his health too. I like the sound of the plant-based natural skincare, especially with the feel of a high end luxury product. I try and avoid cheap and nasty high street skincare since I have become older and wiser!
I also like buying jigsaws for the children in my family as a way of getting them to focus their attention away from a screen for a while! They love Dinosaurs too (had a video call with my nephew today who was dressed in dinosaur PJs 🙂)

  101. C Parkin

A lovely selection of items here-nutcracker tin is so jolly and festive, and I am always looking out for a new light.
