Little ones love opening presents and it’s great fun to watch them and the excitement on their face when they discover the contents. Picking what to give as gift can be very hard work especially for those that don’t have children yet and for those with children or have children of a different gender or age from those they are buying for. Sometimes it’s easier to let those that have a knack for buying for children and know what’s appropriate do the hard work. This is where a new company called Kids Parcel can help. Kids parcel is a relatively new company that puts together Mystery Surprise Gift Boxes for children based on their age and gender. These guys are so confident in their toy selection ability that they offer a 100% money back guarantee if the box your little one opens doesn’t make them smile. If you like the idea and still want a box rather than getting a refund you can opt for another box, the choice is yours.
The box arrives addressed to the child for whom it is for which is a lovely touch and one that my girls were very excited about as they rarely get post.
So what was in our box?
We did a video to show you what the girls discovered in their box. Within each box you can write your own message which of course makes the box that bit more special for the child.
There are different examples of toy boxes to choose from on the site and each will include at least 5 surprises. Themed boxes are also available for those that like Disney or Star Wars. Boxes cost £29.99. Delivery is free which is great and the box looks great in relation to the products and number of products included in the parcel. I decided that I should delve deeper and find out what the prices of the individual items were, hey you know me I like to do my research.
These were the products featured in our box.
I found the prices for each item to work out the overall value for money of the kids parcel.
Bugsy Malone DVD £8.99
Staedtler Colouring Pencils £3
Dotty Beanie Boo Soft Toy £4.99
Paint your own Tsum Tsum £5
Doh Vinci Picture Frame Kit £6
Bounce Animals Game £5.99
Total £33.97
£33.97 – £29.99 = £3.98
If you take into consideration that you are not paying for delivery and you are saving on the cost of the overall products included in the box the box is really good value. It has a varied range of items to keep little ones happy.

This is such a fantastic box for kids! I remember being in the Bugsy Malone play when I was in school as a choir member! xxx
What a fun parcel and giveaway. My niece would really love something like this.
This looks like so much fun for little ones to play with.
I love how excited your kids are to get everything out of the box! It looks like there is plenty to keep them occupied too. I was always part of penpal groups when I was growing up which was a brilliant way to ensure post as well as be creative with things to make and send to other kids too.
That’s a good idea and it would help encourage reading and writing. I have been meaning to set up an email account for the girls so they can get electronic mail from their school friends and practising their writing skills.
Again, really cute post/vid! I love how you include your kids in your posts 🙂
Thanks Tara, they love helping mummy work 😉
my daughter would have liked this parcel, but is too old now!

Love the idea behind kid parcel and the fact that it comes in the child’s name how cool
I think this is a fabulous idea, and something that could be a great birthday or christmas present. I love the variety of what is included inside too x
My little ones would love that kind of parcel! It’s not about what’s in the parcel: it’s all about the mystery and the speculation. Cool stuff!
That’s true and it’s super fun to ope something addressed to them 😉
