Appy Drinks has launched it’s NEW ‘School Approved’ HEALTHY JUICES which are now available from Ocado.com and Tesco stores as packs of four. What do I mean by healthy juices I hear you ask! Don’t worry I’m just coming to that. Normal fruit juices are literally just fruit juice and what some people don’t realise is that they can contain high quantities of naturally occurring fruit sugars which if not used up by the body will be converted to fat!!!! These drinks also don’t contain artificial colours or preservatives.
Appy Drinks has reduced the amount of sugar in their juices by 50% by using natural sweetener Stevia instead of sugar thus cutting sugar content by 50% but not compromising on the flavour and that’s not marketing talk I have tried them for myself. The generous team from Appy Drinks sent me some of their great new drinks with their fun packaging to try and give my opinion on. Initially I wasn’t sure whether the addition of the water would compromise the flavour and you can ask my family and friends I am all about flavour when it comes to food and drink but trust me it really doesn’t!
These juices don’t just taste great but are also appealing to children with their colourful designs that children can relate to. The company won Best Retail Packaging Innovation at the World Juice Awards for being the first company to feature Nickelodeon licences and augmented reality packaging by Tetra Pak. The interactive feature on the cartons allow for them to be scanned with a smartphone and props to be collected which can be used on the Free Appy App, and enter viral competitions and watch videos. All Appy products are interactive so wherever you see the Appy ‘A’ symbol users can scan with their smartphones to enter Appys online world of educational fun designed to allow children to interact with each other as well as their parents. Competitions will be run with prizes including the likes of DVD’s, plush teddies and stationary up for grabs.

They are adult friendly thanks to the fact that they are full of flavour and great for those watching their sugar intake.
My little ones enjoyed them so much that this cheeky little munchkin decided she wanted to take two with her to school the following day!

These sound great and should ease the problem of what is acceptable in lunchboxes in some schools.
i love these and will definitely be looking out for them so i can put them in the kids lunch boxes and keep some in the fridge for quick treats
These would be great for my son who loves his juice but because of the sugar he isn’t allowed more than one glass a day now he can have them with his meals and they have his favourite character peppa pig.
My daughter is so fussy, so these sound amazing. I hope they become available in more stores!
