I do love to discover new fragrances and there are so many lovely ones out there. The only problem is when you develop a passion for purchasing different perfumes it can become quite costly. So how can you grow your fragrance collection without spending a small fortune? This post looks at the growing trend of dupe perfumes and looks at some great Perfume Dupes from The Fragrance World.

Why Buy A Dupe Perfume?
Fragrance Dupes have grown in popularity over the years. Companies now make many fragrances similar to luxury perfumes but unlike the luxury options that normally come with a hefty price tag dupes are far more affordable for everyone. Fragrance dupes are readily available but some are better than others. With so many on the market, how do you know where is best to purchase from at a reasonable price?
Let’s consider the facts, luxury brands will spend a substantial amount of time experimenting to create their fragrances. Let’s not forget they also pay celebrities to advertise their products. Many companies claim to use the highest quality ingredients. But, when you look at what is used, it appears that we are overpaying simply because of the brand name, their advertising, and the exclusivity of having an original rather than the sum of the ingredients, advertising, packaging, and a reasonable amount for their profit.
How to Find A Good Dupe Fragrance Company
There are now companies that specifically sell perfume dupes. Perfume Dupes from The Fragrance World are quite varied. You’ll find some of the most popular fragrances on the site. The Fragrance World have lists of luxury brand fragrances and their alternatives. These are available in a variety of sizes so you can buy one to try or go all in and buy a large bottle to enjoy. There are fragrances available for both women and men and size options are 5ml, 50ml and 100ml. Men’s fragrance dupes include; Sauvage the alternative for this is Wild, One Million the alternative is Mr Millionaire. For ladies, you’ll find a copycat for La Vie et Belle, alternative is Beautiful Life, No 5, the copy for which is Five as well as many other options for both ladies and gentlemen.
Which Did I Try?
Alien – Out of This World
This is a “floral, woody, amber” fragrance with a top note of Jasmine. You’d be looking at paying £80+ for a 100ml bottle of the original whereas the dupe is a mere £28.95. The Fragrance World dupe is really close to the original it is created around which is great. I did like this version and it seems to last a while on the skin too with just a couple of sprays. If you want to strengthen the fragrance after work a quick spritz and you are ready for a night out.

Flowerbomb – Floral
This fragrance combines beautiful floral notes with woody undertones. It’s such a wonderful floral and sweet fragrance to wear any season but especially over the summer months. A 100ml bottle of the original brand perfume would set you back £69 but the alternative “Floral” from The Fragrance World is just £28.95. It lingers on the skin for a good amount of time and is guaranteed to get you plenty of compliments.
What Did I Think?
These fragrances dupes were fantastic! I’ve never tried a dupe before, I’ve only ever used originals. I loved that I could get a range of well-known name fragrance dupes but for a much more reasonable price. Of course, my friends and relatives will all love this too and will enjoy being gifted a range of great fragrances. The larger sizes are ideal for birthday gifts as well as Christmas presents or even just a gift to make someone smile. The 5ml sizes make great little additions to Christmas stockings or as part of a gift any time of year.

We’ve never tried fragrance dupes, as was always worried what they put in them and if they were regulated but they sound great! Sounds like is much cheaper than the brands for the same smell – winner!
Smells are similar and some are even better which I discovered having tried a few now.
Women can nevr stop loving fragrances – and I’m amazed at the number of men who can name them!
It is nice to wear a lovely fragrance.
I have seen these a lot more now and I do love my perfumes, I have not yet tried them but I have not really heard any negativity around them. I would love to try them myself as I do wear perfume all the time when I am out and have day time perfumes and then ones for the night
I have been wearing perfume much more. It’s lovely to wear something with a nice fragrance even for everyday wear.
I do like dupe perfumes but I don’t find the scents last as well so I do always try and buy the real thing where possible. But they’re great for occasions when you’re just out and don’t need something to last more than a few hours x

I have found a few dupe perfumes very good but the majority vanish so quickly so probably better to pay a little more.

Ooh I tried some perfume dupes before Christmas, they smelled so good and I probably got complimented more on them than the actual product! Fraction of the price and last so much longer as they don’t spray out as much perfume as the expensive bottles!

Some really good dupes here! Alien is a fragrance I grew up around as it’s my mam’s favourite, nice to see it at the same quality for a fraction of the cost!

I’m already a big fan of ‘smell alike’ scents and have several from the range that Aldi brought out. I’ve not come across these before but would love to try them. I like the sound of Floral and Flowerbomb and Out of This World!

I’ve smelt those, they’re not as good as these ones unfortunately.
I’m impressed by the prices of the dupes. I think I’ve always been a bit suspicious because I tend to think that lower price means lower quality, so thanks for the honest reviews, they definitely give me more confidence in the dupes.

I thought the reason companies could copy more expensive perfumes was that they used water instead of oils. that is why they smell the same but don’t last? I don’t know if this is true.
It can depend on the products used in the fragrances. I find some expensive perfumes don’t last that long. These ones seem to last just fine.

These look so interesting! I used to work in a department store on fragrances and it was so much fun and so much more interesting than I first realised. I would love to try these – I have a few beloved scents but I also really like to mix and match depending on my mood/the occassion.

I love perfume,but having two daughters ‘borrowing’ mine, can be expensive. These are affordable and sound so lovely.
