The Review Request
I was contacted by a lovely pr who asked if I’d review the Lovaskin Instant Foot Peel. Having seen the state of my feet and considering the sun was making more of an appearance and bringing temperatures in double figures I knew I needed to act. Naturally, I accepted. Not long after a Lovaskin Instant Foot Peel Deluxe Kit arrived at my door ready for me to review.
My feet, having lived in socks all winter long except when they were briefly freed to be washed each morning and night are not as easy on the eyes as I’d like. The heels can look a bit dry and are certainly not sandal ready as you can see, eeeuuuuuggghhhh!!!
So we began with this:
These are my feet.
Awful I know. But, I’ve seen worse, but short of going to a nail salon and having a pedicure and risking a fungal infection (been there done that) I have to use home products most of which can be time-consuming if you want good results. Fortunately, I’ve been introduced to Lovaskin Instant Foot Peel.
Product Ingredients
The product ingredients include Swiss glacier water, Aloe Vera leaf juice, cactus extract, Eucalyptus leaves, Hamamelis bark, Lemon peel extracts.
AHA and BHA (Alpha and Beta-Hydroxyl Acids): Lactic, DL-Malic, Salicylic, Glycolic (found in certain fruits and vegetables, commonly used for the face) and alcohol.
The Science Part
The combined ingredients have various positive effects on the skin. For example, macrocarpal A found in eucalyptus leaves can stimulate ceramide production. Ceramides are fats that occur naturally in the skin. These improve the skin structure improving skin barrier protection and visible damage from environmental stressors. They also help to keep water in the skin helping it to stay hydrated and plump giving a healthy, youthful appearance.
Aloe Vera leaf juice is great for helping to nourish, exfoliate, and cleanse the skin. It is rich in vitamins and antioxidants which give it skin-healing properties. Using this on the skin helps to hydrate and improve the appearance of our skin. Aloe has anti-inflammatory properties and stimulates the production of hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin fibers in the skin helping it to look healthier and more supple.
Hamamelis bark (common name – witch hazel) has astringent properties. This help to tighten the skin, and to soothe and relieve skin inflammation.
Lemon peel extract has exfoliating properties due to Alpha-hydroxy acids. These helping get rid of dead skin and helps skin look, smoother, healthier and brighter. Vitamin C stimulates collagen and elastic production. These help skin look plumper and firmer.
What’s Included in the Kit
Instant Foot Peel spray bottle 75 ml – enough for 25 applications so you can keep your feet looking great at the fraction of the cost of having a pedicure.
Instant Moisturizer airless bottle 50 ml – plenty for more than 25 applications. This stuff is great.
A professional double-side stainless steel foot file. It’s easy to use and makes filing off dead skin extremely easy.
An organic cotton pouch, to keep everything so you don’t lose anything!!
How to Use the Lovaskin Instant Foot Peel Deluxe Kit
Worried you’ll have to spend an hour to get beautiful look feet? Well, fear not. This product has instant in its name and that is spot on.
You’ll need a foot like this with dry skin (no pre preparation required):
Apply the spray directly to the area you want to treat. Skin should be dry. Don’t presoak skin before doing this. Treat one foot at a time.
Use about eight to ten sprays per foot of the Instant Peel Spray. This covers the heel, sides, and toes if required. Make sure the areas to be treated are completely covered.
Leave the product on the areas for sixty seconds without touching it.
Massage the dry skin off using your fingers.
Then, use the rough side of the foot file to remove excess dead skin. (Make sure you have removed the blue protection film first). Finish using the fine side of the file.
Rinse the foot with water. Skin should feel soft already.
Apply moisturiser. This will help hydrate and nourish the skin.
Repeat the process with your other foot.
Now for those that may say by simply applying a moisturiser you’ll get the same response, in the epic words of Jim Carrey in the Grinch “Wrongo”!!! That simply isn’t the case.
For the doubters, this disproves that theory:
On the left, we have my other foot (not treated), and on the right, the same foot with moisturiser added. The skin has sucked up the moisture like a slurpee, but the old dead skin is still there and thirsty for more.
So let’s look at the two feet together. On the left below, we have a foot treated once with the Lovaskin Instant Foot Peel. On the right, a foot that has been simply moisturised.
The Results
As you can see from the above images, the Lovaskin Instant Foot Peel is a fast-acting product. In less than two minutes you can transform the skin on your feet from dry and rough to hydrated, soft, and silky smooth. It does seem to work extremely well as demonstrated.
I was really impressed at how effective the product is. Feet look so much better and are definitely ready to be exposed in sandals or flip flops within minutes after use.
Just adding a moisturiser has been shown not going to give the same result as using this product and isn’t really something that one could classify as a reasonable alternative.
Moisturiser will be absorbed and the skin will show some improvement but not to the same degree. Soon after it will return to its previous appearance. With the Lovaskin Instant Foot Peel the effects are far more long-lasting.

Oh actually this sounds magic!! I sat and did my feet yesterday afternoon and what a palava it was too. I soaked my feet, dried them, put some scrub cream on, massaged that in, washed them and dried them – one foot at a time! And before and in between and after I used a foot file to get rid of any excess dead dry skin. Yes they look and feel better, but this product sounds fabulous!!!
It would save you so much time. You have to try it!!

Oh man, I need this! My feet look about like yours but my mom’s get so bad they bleed. I need to get this for her soon, too, before we start hitting the pool and beach in a few weeks.
Mum might need to be careful if her feet are bleeding. It depends how bad they are. I’d suggest using it on unbroken skin. Your feet should be fine though.
My foot is drier than dry and needs all the help it can get. I have tried moisturizing it and it does help a little but I do think I need to scrub it to remove the dead skin first. Definitely need to find this and try it out!
