Yankee Candles ‘Cafe Culture Collection’

There is nothing like the smell of freshly baked goods wafting through the house and although this is a regular(ish) occurrence in my house it is lovely to achieve this without having to go to the effort of baking and not to mention avoiding the calorie intake that ensues not so good for my bikini body (cough cough).  The great thing is that these aromas are now easily attainable thanks to the wonderful Yankee Candle with absolutely no effort at all.  Yankee Candle have just launched their new range ‘Cafe Culture’.  I was lucky enough to be sent a set to review.

Tarte Tatin

This was the first candle I picked up to smell and it was, in a word, ‘fabulous’!  You can smell it through the jar and it has a gorgeous sweet freshly baked apple tart like aroma.  It’s simply mouth watering and perfect for the Spring / Summer season.

Cappuccino Truffle

A perfect pair, bold, roasted coffee and luscious velvety chocolate that literally made my tummy rumble when I inhaled the rich decadent aroma.  If this was edible it would have vanished in seconds!

Pain au Raisin

My taste buds were ready to disown me when I opened the lid and inhaled very deeply devastated that this was not something that they would get to sample.  I couldn’t get enough of the aroma this blend of cognac soaked raisins baked in buttery vanilla dough infused with cinnamon is truly magnificent.

This delicious selection is available in large, medium and small jar candles as well as votives and wax melts.  There is also a new accessory collection that complements the range including a mug style votive holder, a large tray and a shade embellished with a themed Cafe Culture motif.

To celebrate their new range Yankee Candle have prizes to give away everyday this month from the 1st to the 30th of May 2015.  Entry is free and you could win a 2 Night European City Break every Saturday in May and a Nescafe Dolce Gusto Machine every Sunday to Friday (one per day).  Holiday winners will get to choose a break for two from the following European destinations: Amsterdam, Madrid, Bruges, Budapest, Paris, Rome, Athens, Milan, Pisa and Dublin.
