Magnolia Eye Gel by MyChelle

I love my sleep but since being pregnant with my first child many years ago that is something I have really missed.  A full night’s uninterrupted sleep seems to have evaded me all this time and as a result the shadows under my eyes have become a dark purple colour and require concealer to avoid me looking like an extra from a zombie movie.  The puffiness was not as severe but was still noticeable to me.

Mine appeared even more purple than these!

Having posted on twitter to see if any companies had a product that they believed could help with these awful purple suitcases one rose to the challenge.  This was a company that I have reviewed before MyChelle with their lovely firming serum and this time they put forward their Magnolia Eye Gel to be tested.

Out of curiosity I asked how long it would take to show any kind of improvement, their response ‘two weeks’!  Sounds too good to be true?  Having learnt many years ago that one should never assume anything I set about with the product trial with a bit of excitement as I really did need something to dull down the purple a bit and help make my eyes appear a little less puffy.

Two weeks passed and leading up to this time I couldn’t help but check to see how they my eyes were doing.  The Eye Gel from MyChelle appeared to be helping.  The outer part of the under eye was beginning to lighten.  Now after three weeks or using the product the purple seems to have faded that little bit more and no puffiness to be seen.  It’s blend of peptides and plant extracts (Green Coffee and Magnolia Leaf) help to strengthen the tiny capillaries under the skin which cause the darkness and assist in removal of excess fluids in the tissue under the eyes that cause the puffiness.  No matter what your skin type this seems to be a great product that continues working and show improvement with continuous use.

I’d be interested to see how you progress over time with this, I sometimes find I become ‘immune’ to products and they stop working so effectively, but I certainly need something like this!

Thanks I have been looking for a nice eyegel to help lighten my eyes. I just find it hard to remember to apply every day, I guess i’m a bit lazy 🙂
