You have some great vehicles here. We’ll probably get a used car when my daughter starts to drive and want to make sure it’s a safe one! But affordable!
I bet she can’t wait. A first car doesn’t need to be expensive although of course, you’ll aim for something that is small and isn’t too old for safety reasons.
I’m currently learning to drive, so I’m hoping I can purchase a car later this year 🙂 I think we will probably go for an electric car though as my partner already has the big estate car. I’m probably only going to be doing short trips too! I just can’t wait to be driving haha!

My husband was looking at car prices a few weeks ago, and then had a look how much both of ours are and the prices are amazing. He has now decided to sell my car and buy our daughter a little car and start her driving lessons.

My daughter is in the market for a used car. They only have one vehicle in the family and they definitely need two.
It can be easier to have a few available when there is more than one person that drives.
Thanks for sharing the different family car options available. With finances tougher than ever for people buying cars as cheap as possible is so important. A Volkswagen Golf or Skoda Octavia would have to be my choice, the cheaper the better at the moment!
Used cars around here are so marked up. Some cars that are 3-4 years old are as much as new cars! We went with a new car at MSRP for this reason.
What a useful post – I have always wanted an Audi! We got a car on finance recently, that was much better than a car we could outright purchase, and having a reliable car has been such an improvement on our lives.
I love this post and I am all about used cars. I was so stuck on buying brand new… which I did two times but it is so over rated. I now look for 2 year old cars to buy when I purchase as you save tone! New Cars lose thousands the minute you drive them off the lot…. not worth it 😉 Thank you for sharing!

Some lovely cars here. We’ve always bought used cars and usually start saving for our next car as soon as we buy one, our cars generally last us 4 years, we have no debt & want to keep it that way!
