How to enter Competitions

How to enter Competitions

Competitions vary greatly. These can be find on websites and various social pages.

Here, I aim to guide you as much as I can with how to enter competitions on various platforms.

How to Enter Competitions:

First and foremost, read the instructions. I have seen time and time again on competitions that I have entered as well as hosted that people don’t read the instructions – this means your entry will not be valid. It isn’t worth the follow, tagging etc if you don’t enter correctly!

Website Competitions

There are often regular competitions hosted by some websites so be sure to check back weekly to check if new ones have been added.

The end date should be clearly stated.

Generally, entry involves filling in specific details – name, email, contact number, in some cases an address is required.

Check for tick boxes, you don’t want to be hounded by sms messages (texts), emails. Some companies ask if you want your details to be shared with their partners, think before you allow this.

Be aware some companies will sell on your details – pick who you want to have your information carefully x

That’s a useful article. I know many shy away from RC competitions, but at least we know they’re fair!

I have run rafflecopter comps on my blog a few times and it does drive me mad when people say they have done something and they haven’t, as I have to go through disqualifying them. But I do like how it’s so fair as it’s completely random. I’ve won a few things myself from these types of competitions.
