My daughters are constantly being invited to birthday parties. This of course is great for their social lives but I admit going to a toy store with two little girls to find the kids presents before hand can be a total nightmare. Apart from them wanting half the toys on the shelves, I can’t resist the urge to press buttons which then results in toys springing to life, flashing so as to gain the attention of extra-terrestrials and whizzing around the room or bursting into music/song and thus resulting in everyone staring to see who / what is causing the commotion.
The local residents of North London and the surrounding areas can now be safe in the knowledge that this will no longer be occurring since I discovered what2buy4kids.co.uk last week. Clearly a heaven sent for busy mums like myself this site boasts a great range of toys for ages 3 to 12 inclusive that are reasonably priced and combine a mix of fun, useful and educational gifts. The site is simple to manoeuvre setting out the age ranges and whether the gifts are for boys or girls very clearly. They also offer a gift wrapping service where you can have the gift wrapped in either blue or pink tissue paper and they can also include a message card as well as send internationally if required.
I feel like I am constantly on the hunt for gifts for boys and gifts for girls. With 2 boys birthdays coming up I need something for a 4 and also a 5 year old. Boys love discovering new things and generally have a love of discovering new creepy crawlies to most mothers’ utter horror. My girls seem to love looking at and searching for bugs too so this Magnifying Glass looks like a great gift for young inquisitive minds:
The Green Dinosaur Pillow Pet also caught my eye. At the age of 4 children are not past needing a little something to cuddle in bed and of course boys seem to loooove Dinosaurs!!!
From my own experience it isn’t just little girls that love to bake. Many a time I have had mixed playdates and the boys seem to get stuck in just as much as the girls when we make and decorate cupcakes. This Kids Cooking Set would be perfect for all budding chefs out there.
Another item that really should mention is the fantastic range of Lunch Boxes perfect for the little ones return to school. Our school specified that we were to have a specific type of lunch box when we went to the open day but some mothers mentioned they were unsure of where they could find them. The search is over as they have them at what2buy4kids.co.uk yaaaaaaayyyyyyyy.
One last mention is the Volcano Making Kit (suitable for age 8) I have only ever seen these in childrens films but think it would be great fun to make for the little ones and me! (sorry I am no longer able to contain my inner child).
what2buy4kids.co.uk aims to help take the time and frustration out of finding the perfect gift for the birthday boy or girl that is both special and useful. I did want to mention that although this is a sponsored post many of my readers may by now be aware I can be quite selective about the companies and products I write about/for. This is a company that caught my attention as they have a lovely range of items that both children and parents will love.
