Pregnancy Week 33

I am still feeling lots of movement which is good as it encourages bone strengthening and builds muscle mass.  We got to see little Squishy when we went for the final (3rd) scan and luckily it was only a short one.  From the scan they could see that the baby is average size which was good to hear and all seemed well with him.  Baby is now between 3 and 4 pounds in weight, I think that we were told ours was about 3.4 pounds so not a monster size baby.  Squishy is now roughly the size of a pineapple.  He is filling our more so looking less and less wrinkled.

I am being driven insane now with heartburn and am finding that I am now resorting to taking the tablets prescribed by my doctor a little more now although I am quite stubborn in my desire not to take them and grin and bare it quite a lot too.  The feeling of nausea is gradually returning and I am now experiencing it more often.  Breathing in to get through small gaps is now pointless as it makes no difference to the position of the bump.  I now have to manoeuver myself to fit through spaces although most people are considerate and will let me pass when they see me approaching.  Sleep is getting harder and I am also finding that I am having more and more strange dreams.  Where possible try and get a nap if you can, not so easy if you already have children especially now over the Summer holidays.

    How exciting!!
I find staying upright (sitting up straight) for at least an hour after eating or drinking anything other than water helps with the heartburn – and coconut water is amazing for instant relief!!
