Pregnancy Week 25

Another week gradually rolls past and I find myself on my 25th week of pregnancy.  Now is the time that little Squishy is plumping up by laying down his layers of fat.  I know he has grown as the force at which he punches and kicks are far stronger than before and you can literally seem lumps rising on my tummy as he excitedly bounces around in there totally oblivious of the world that lies outside his little temporary home.  I have noticed that he is now responding to sound and loud noises can trigger off quite a bit of bouncing about.  It’s beginning to get harder for me to find a comfy position to sleep and I have noticed my visits to the bathroom at night are becoming more frequent.  Little Squishy is now about 34cm long and is finding he has less room to move about freely, poor little thing.  He is now about the size of a swede.

Not long now so while you still have the energy make sure you have your birth plan all organised!  Mine may involve a large T-Shirt with the words ‘I WANT AN EPIDURAL PLEASE, RIGHT NOW!’ printed on it, just in case there is any confusion.  It is also time to start getting items in that will be needed for baby over the coming weeks.  I plan to write up a few lists including what I will need for myself and baby in the hospital, what I will require once I get home etc.

Oh those night time toilet trips – I can totally empathise. If it’s not nightly toilet trips, a child having bad dreams, a snoring husband or just the inability to get comfy, it’s a big old kick from the baby reminding me who’s boss. I miss sleep! Thank you for linking up to the #BlogBumpClub – lovely to find another blogger at the same stage of pregnancy as I am!

Haha I’m terrified of even the thought of an epidural! Anyone touching my back freaks me right out! :S told Mr G that i may need prozac if anyone suggests an epidural while I’m in labour!!
