Personalising items can make a gift feel that little bit more special.  I find with my girls that it is sometimes impossible to know which mug is flavour of the week for each child.  Fortunately that is no longer a concern after the generous guys at Itsyourstory.co.uk sent me two personalised mugs for my little girls.  I was relieved at the ease of ordering the mugs as I have to admit I am not a regular internet shopper although I do give it a go every month or so.  All I had to do was send the pictures that I wanted them to use and select which style I liked and they did the rest (I purchased an additional mug for a friend).  By coincidence the mugs arrived on the day we were having a play date with the other child we had ordered the mug for so we decided to get the girls to open them together.

The girls loved their mugs.  Fortunately they are made from a light-weight plastic so they are easy for little ones to lift when they have fluids and not likely to break (they should not be put in the microwave or dishwasher).  The photo quality was great and I was very pleased to have chosen the Princess images as they looked fantastic.  The kids reactions were priceless, you could see that they were very impressed with having their very own personalised Princess mug.

There are other personalised items available on the website  including their award winning personalised books.  After a quick browse I thought that the personalised water bottles which come in the same 15 different styles were an especially good idea. My eldest daughter is now in reception class so having one of these would avoid confusion as quite a few in her class seem to have identical bottles at the moment.
