Abbey Home Media sent me a list of DVD titles and asked me if I would like to review one.  I decided to get someone else to select for me for a change so I asked the teacher of my youngest daughters nursery class to select my next review DVD.  The title that was selected was “Horrid Henry – Rocking the World” from series 3.

We had never seen this before so I was curious to see the girls reaction.  From the second the play button was pressed there was silence, nothing could distract them from watching the programme.  The girls absolutely loved Horrid Henry and although it is about a boy it can be enjoyed by girls too thanks to the range of characters.  The DVD has 6 different episodes that see Henry, his friends and not forgetting Moody Margaret causing all sorts of trouble.

Horrid Henry’s Mother’s Day present is something really special, something that only someone as horrid as Henry can deliver!

The children sat and giggled at parts which was nice to see and then after seeing Moody Margaret in her ballet gear they decided to show me their ballet moves.  Even though this is about a child that misbehaves you can still see that Henry learns important lessons.  The girls have a slight obsession now with the ballerina episode.
