Here comes the Sun!!!!!

The sun is out, the sky is blue, it’s nice and warm, what do you do?  Well I for one love to take walks with my mini man.  Not only is it very relaxing but it is a great form of exercise for me and interesting for little man to see new things especially with the gorgeous flowers that are now in bloom.  The one thing I won’t forget to leave the house with (apart from mini man of course) is our sunglasses.  Naturally, many of us will wear a sunfactor on exposed skin when we are to be in contact with the ultraviolet radiation from the sun but it appears that not all appreciate the harm that the sun’s rays can do to the eyes.  Children’s are far more sensitive to light than adults as their pupils are wider and their eyes contain less pigment allowing more light to reach the retina.  Damage that is caused to the eye builds up so it is best to take preventative measures as early as possible.

With a range of sunglasses that are colourful, fun and at the same time offer a great level of protection Foster Grant has styles to suit all mini fashionistas and fashionisters.  They have a great variety of shapes and finishes and all of which are strong, durable and have shatter and scratch-resistant UV400 lenses.  With that in mind, I decided to browse through the pages of their children’s section.

I am now pleased to announce:

Mr Squishy finally has his own sunglasses, saves him borrowing his sisters pink ones, yaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!

Although he looks super cool in sunglasses, cruising around in his little car (walker) pink just doesn’t seem to suit him so we decided to opt for a manlier colour.  What do you think of these?

Mr Squishy’s sisters decided that they too had to have a more fashionable pair of sunglasses that were not only super trendy but also pink!

Suitably impressed with what his sisters were wearing Mr Squishy decided to try on his own pair.

He then decided to test their durability……

and, although he was impressed by their apparent baby proof feature he was devastated that he had bet his sisters his chocolate pudding if he couldn’t break them!
