If you are visiting any of the Center Parcs Sites in the UK and fancy a bite to eat then you might want to head on over to Huck’s American Bar and Grill Center Parcs. You’ll find one of these diners located at each of the UK sites. This restaurant has a range of American and Mexican style dishes and the dish options are nice and varied. This is just one of the many Restaurants at Center Parcs that you can dine in at whilst enjoying on your stay.
Huck’s American Bar and Grill Center Parcs
As with any restaurant at Center Parcs, the food isn’t cheap but then their restaurants are not the most expensive around either. Many of these restaurants have a soft play area for children which can mean after they’ve been fed you can enjoy your meal whilst they play.
Types of Dishes available at Hucks Bar and Grill
You will find a wide selection of dishes at this restaurant such as loaded skins, garlic bread nachos and chicken/cauliflower wings to get you started. For mains, enjoy various grill options, salads, burgers, Huck’s favourites such as mac and cheese, pulled beef chilli and a good selection of sides. There are plenty of delicious sweet treats to balance out the meal. As well as the main menu, you will find there is a children’s menu available, gluten and vegan menus and also a range of freakshakes to wash down your meal with or enjoy at the end of the meal with or without a dessert.
On our most recent visit, the children and and I enjoyed a meal after building up an appetite swimming.
During our visit we tried the following dishes:
Huck’s Famous Chicken Wings
This has a mix of 5 chicken wings and drumsticks. Huck’s Famous Chicken Wings is a starter portion and is a decent size dish, popular with adults and kids. My son couldn’t wait to try them. The wings are served with blue cheese dressing. They are available in either BBQ sauce, Frank’s RedHot sauce or Mango and habanero sauce. Not being one for too much heat, my son opted for the BBQ sauce option. He finished the lot!!!!! Or, at least everything except the celery with blue cheese dressing which was for mummy apparently.
A Portion of Huck’s Nachos
Who doesn’t love nachos!!! My girls and I are certainly fans. This is a reasonably sized portion of nachos and came topped with and American style cheese sauce and fresh tomatoes and onions to add to the flavour. Having turned up late in the evening we found they were out of the guacamole by the time this was served which was unfortunate as it complements the dish well. You can choose from a regular or large portion. As it was to be shared by my girls, we naturally chose the larger one.
Huck’s Sizzling Fajita Platters
Fajitas are a popular dish. You can have them with chicken like we did, or, one of the other options available. You could also opt for your fajitas with steak strips, prawns or vegetables. Each option comes marinated and slightly spiced, and served with griddled onions and peppers. In addition, you will be given warm soft flour tortillas and salsa, sour cream, guacamole and jalapenos. The portion size was good and the food was flavourful. Everyone enjoyed this!

Desserts
As we had arrived late at the restaurant, we didn’t get to try any of the desserts available. There are a number of great options to choose from including key lime pie, a warm cookie with ice cream, a big brownie etc. Hopefully, on our next visit we’ll make it to the restaurant earlier and get to try at least one of these between us.
Huck’s American Bar and Grill Center Parcs is a restaurant we will certainly be revisiting on subsequent visits. This is a popular restaurant option and therefore booking is strongly recommended. Alternatively, you can order food and take it away.

I am a fan of chicken wings. I want to try out the 5 different sauces, especially the hot sauce variety.
Would love to visit this restaurant one day. I like the variety of desserts offered and my favorite one is a warm cookie with ice cream.

It sounds like Hucks has a really good selection of food for both adults and kids. We love nachos and fajitas too so we would definitely have gone for those. It is a shame you were there later and missed out on certain things though.

I don’t remember seeing this place when we visited Center Parcs, some of the food options look great.
They have a great range of food options. Look out for it on your next visit.
It is nice to know they have a wide selection of dishes. I would love to try their pulled beef chili.
