Most parents with young children will be aware of Mr Tumble also known as Justin Fletcher who appears in an extremely popular programme called Something Special on CBeebies. His tv shows are great for little ones and are designed to introduce children to Makaton signing and are aimed at children with delayed learning and communication difficulties although most children love them as they are fun, educational and very eye catching with plenty of bold bright colours.
Mr Tumble also has a growing toy collection which is available for purchase and we were sent one of these to put through its paces.
Mr Squishy took the Mr Tumble Fun Sounds Musical Car for a test drive and was very impressed.
He loved the bright colours of the car and the well sized Mr Tumble that is easy to hold and virtually unbreakable. The car so far appears to be Squishy proof with him having thrown it about all over the place and miraculously it has withstood everything this heavy handed toddler has thrown at it or thrown it at to be more precise without any damage whatsoever. The car is simple enough to use and came with batteries so we were able to use it the second we managed to get it out of the box, handy to know if you are getting one as a gift for Christmas or a birthday.
This toy car has many of the key learning elements from the much loved CBeebies show. Mr Squishy simply has to push the car to hear it make fun engine sounds as it wobbled along! When he pressed the big red nose it flashed and made sounds. There is a handy flap at the front that you can lift to place the Mr Tumble figurine into the driver’s seat. Little man loves pressing the big red music button on the top of the car to hear the theme tune to the show and there are also character buttons on either side to press revealing fun phrases and sounds. The car comes with 4 word cards with Makaton signs that fit perfectly into the slot at the back of the car allowing Mr Squishy to practise working on his hand eye co-ordination when slotting them in and taking them out.
This is a lovely toy for little ones and Mr Squishy loves playing with this. It’s great for encouraging creative play and I have noticed that my little man gets lost in his own little fun world when he is sitting and playing with the car. We know you guys are loving our videos so we wanted to show you this super toy in action.
Mr Squishy loves his Mr Tumble Fun Sounds Musical Car and decided from the second it arrived that this toy was his! Although this is a unisex toy my girls don’t get a chance to use it with out being told NOOOOOOO MIIIIIIIIIIIIII (no mine) by Squishy.
This fun children’s toy can be found at Golden Bear Toys.
