For those that are young at heart and enjoy fairy tales and musicals this film has it all.  I took the girls to see ‘Into the Woods’ starring Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep, James Corden Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine and Johnny Depp.  Into the Woods is a modern day adaptation of a mix of fairy tales from the Brothers Grimm that we have all grown to love.  The story begins with a witch asking a baker to bring her specific objects from various fairy tale stories to reverse the curse that she put on his family.  Although I did find it rather long it kept the little ones entertained and my eldest asked me a few times during the film “is it finishing soon?” and when my response was “no” she would reply “oh, good!!!”  I was a little surprised that the birds that were friends with Cinderella pecked out the stepmother and stepsisters eyes but then it is the Brothers Grimm so that sort of thing is to be expected.  Fun for little Princesses and Princes alike make sure you take the little ones as it is something that they will love especially on the big screen!
