I had hoped to be sharing a picture of my little Squishy by now but it seems that he is a little shy at the moment and doesn’t want to make an appearance. I am holding on to the fact that the midwife appeared to think that Squishy would come early as technically he could be another week or more although I really do hope he gets a move on. I am finding that I am still suffering from heartburn and get the impression that Squishy may be a very long baby as we have some 6 footers in the family. I am avoiding thinking about the birth as it’s not going to be long now and as it is my third child the length of the actual birth should be shorter so my fears of giving birth on the way to the hospital or in their doorway are not unfounded. I have researched local cabs that are open 24 hours and have a list waiting on top of my hospital bag. Labour more often begins in the evening when we are more relaxed and so it’s best to be ready!
Squishy could now be up to about 50cm long!!!!!! with a weight of aroung 3kg.
I’ve been eating spicy foods where possible in the hope that it helps initiate labour with no luck so far.
Bumpy car journeys are not working!!!! These just made me feel sick.
Pineapple – not a sausage
Relaxing – I’ve managed it a bit more now the girls are at school yet nothing.
Apparently cuddles should help, nothing there yet although I do like them.

nearly there hun, i never ever made it past the 38 mark then it got less an less with my pregnancys. 32 weeks is my earliest.All the best hun hope labour goes very smoothly for you an its not a long time either good luck i wish you all the best 🙂

Oh my goodness, can’t believe your about to have your baby any day now Mel. I know I’ve been really Ill for a good 9 months but I would read what was going on in people’s life’s and remember your very special announcement and now he’s proper cooked and very soon will be here!
