I have been using Palmer’s products since I was a teen.  I remember the first time I smelt the deliciously exciting sweet Cocoa Butter my love affair with the product begun.  I even introduced my husband to it who also loves it too but he uses the fragrance free version.  Palmer’s have increased their range and added many new exciting products but one that had me literally bursting with excitement when I first found out about it was their Coconut Oil Formula.  OMG the fragrance that reminds me of holidaying abroad in hot countries.  Not only is the scent heavenly but the natural coconut oil works wonders on the skin and hair, these truly are fabulous products.

The Coconut Oil Formula range contain ethically and sustainably sourced coconut oil and Tahitian Monoi Oil infused with Tiare flower petals.  Palmer’s have a range of products containing coconut oils for the hair and the body.  This post will concentrate on those available for use on the skin.  Their products do not contain parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, gluten, sulphates or dyes.

Coconut oil is rich in saturated fats which when sinks into the skin moisturising and softening as it goes.  It is also great for soothing bites (I’ll be packing some in my suitcase then), soothes rashes, speeds up the rate of healing, protects against sun damage, it’s also thought to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and act as an antioxidant to prevent cellular ageing.  Coconut oil is great as a massage oil and can even be used to remove make up.

Palmer’s have introduced a substantial range of products that contain their coconut oil formula including the following:

Coconut Oil Body Lotion

The Cocoa butter version of this was what begun my love of this brand any years ago and this product has reaffirmed why this is a brand with fabulous products.  The cream is lovely and rich and I love using it it’s a lovely moisturiser and it is also great to soothe the skin after sun exposure.  The little ones all love using this after a bath or shower.

Coconut Oil Body Cream

Similar to the body lotion but thicker in texture this is also great for softening and moisturising the skin.  The coconut oil body cream is good to use after shaving as it adds that bit extra moisture to the skin.  Great for adding all day moisture it’s also the perfect size for popping into suitcases and it isn’t heavy either.  One tub will last quite a while even with daily use as you don’t need much for each application.

Coconut Hand Cream

This comes in a handbag sized tube which is very useful.  It’s easy to control the amount used so as not to get an excessive amount of the product on each use minimising waste.  The formula is great at soothing and healing sore, dry cracked skin as well as a general hand moisturiser that will make your hands smell wonderful.  My little boy loves the smell so much he wants to use it too and sits smelling his hands after I have applied it.  Needless to say the girls they have demanded to have a tube each!

Coconut Body Oil

I love using this when I get out of the shower each day, in fact I look forward to that burst of fragrance that comes with each squirt of the bottle it fills the room and liners for ages.  The bottle has a pump action spray to allow again for minimal waste and easy application.  The oil soaks into the skin well and I use it straight after showering after a slight dabbing with a towel to help seal in moisture and keep my skin feeling soft and looking hydrated and not forgetting smelling gorgeous all day.

These Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula products are NOT just for summer the are great for all year use.

Have you tried the Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula range yet?

I was sent the products featured in the photo for an honest review.

  1. Sadly I can’t use this range due to allergies but it does sound like a great range for anyone who can use it! I love Palmers as a brand and their recently launched haircare range is fab xx

  2. Palmer’s products are really great and never let me down! Sometimes I think it’s a little price-y but then it does do a very good job so I suppose it’s worth it!

  4. I haven’t tried Palmer’s before. I’ve tried cocoa and coconut butters and oils on their own, but that’s not the ideal form for skin, I don’t think, they seemed like they’d benefit from a carrier, in the case of cocoa, and a blend in the case of coconut (which I don’t think you’re supposed to use neat on skin anyway). My hair loves coconut oil, though, and I’d like to give it another try for my skin so this could be a really good way of doing that. Thanks for the review!
