Beauticology Luxury Cosmetic Gift Bag

I’ve been buying Baylis & Harding products for some time now.  Their products make super Birthday and Christmas presents and are always beautifully presented.  I remember the gift sets that I bought last year for friends and family covered in sparkly silver making them look fantastic and very Christmassy.  This year I have been on the look out to see what fabulous items they have in store for us and am excited about the Beauticology donut store range that is now available.

This caters to my love of sweet foods perfectly as the products smell divine, they look great and there is a good range of items.

The Beauticology Donut Shop House of Luxuries gift set contains 4 popular bath time treats – a 300ml Frosted Sprinkles Body Wash, 300ml Blueberry Glaze Donut Shower Creme, 100ml Frosted Sprinkles Shower Gel, 50ml Blueberry Glaze Donut Body Lotion and 50ml Vanilla Sugar Donut Hand Lotion.  They sound amazing don’t they. This will be available at Tesco soon.

The Baylis & Harding Donut Shop Mug Gift Set is a great gift as even after the deliciously delightful Blueberry Glaze Donut scented shower gel has finished you still have the cute mug.  This gift set can be found at Debenhams.

But that’s not all there is also a pretty Luxury Cosmetic Gift Bag available.  You don’t just get a super handy feminine make up bag which is a great size to keep your beauty products in.  It also comes with some great goodies including 100ml Frosted Sprinkles Body Wash, 100ml Blueberry Glaze Donut Shower Creme, 50ml Vanilla Sugar Donut Body Butter and 50ml Blueberry Glaze Donut Body Butter.  These all smell amazing and literally good enough to eat.

These make great gifts for Birthdays and Christmas and there are numerous other gift sets available that are equally as lovely.

Anyone want one of these Luxury bags for Christmas?

There are also small gift sets available as well as individual items such as this gorgeous hand wash.  Not only does this make your hands smell great it also leaves them feeling silky soft.

With so many Baylis & Harding items now available for Christmas in stores across the country you will be spoilt for choice.  Here are just some of the offers I found in Superdrug!  On the left is the Sweet Mandarin & Grapefruit Gift Set now half price (£25.00 now £12.50) containing 7 items a bargain in my eyes as it works out to £1.79 per item included in the gift set.  On the right is a Sweet Mandarin & Grapefruit Gift Set and a Midnight Fig and Pomegranate Gift Set also half price (£10.00 now £5.00) making them equivalent to £1 each – Body Wash, Shower Crème, Bath & Shower Creme, Hand Cream and Body Lotion.

Many of these items and more may be found in numerous supermarkets including Tesco, Morrisons, and also Superdrug, Debenhams, and various online stores so make sure you compare prices as you can get some great offers on these.

Now if you recall I asked earlier in this post if you wanted one of those super cute Luxury Cosmetic Gift Bags well if you said yes then here is your chance plus Baylis & Harding have said I can also throw in one of the fabulously fragrant Frosted Sprinkles hand washes pictured above too.

Princess Bedroom Ideas

Last week I wrote a post featuring some products that I thought were great for a Pirate themed bedroom.   This week I am at it again!  This time I am featuring a Princess themed bedroom.  What little girl doesn’t dream of being a Princess with gorgeous dresses, tiaras, shoes talking pets and everything else that makes their childhood a special time.  Having scoured the internet, I have come up with some products that I think are perfect to transform a basic bedroom into one that will go to making any little girls dreams come true talking pet included.

First up where would a Princess be without her grand and beautiful bed.  I whittled it down to 2 beds as I couldn’t decide between them as both are great in their own right.

First up a bed from Noa and Nani costing from £219.99 with slide, tent, tower and tunnel (mattress not included).

Princess1Next up a bed from for £199.99.

Don’t they look amazing!!!

A Princess needs the right bedcovers and the Disney Princess duvet cover from would look great and is a bargain at £9.99.  To brighten up the room and continuing with the theme why not add a lovely Princess sticker with everyone’s favourite Princesses from Dotty Frog Decor priced at £14.50.  Don’t forget the nightlight.  I love the one I found over on The website it’s even pink!!!!  Ideal for allowing little ones to see their way through a dark room to the bathroom and to scare away shadow monsters.  It’s £45 but something they will use for years.  Every Princess needs a vanity table and the one over on the site is adorable it is gorgeous and is reduced to £124.99 and will give a little Princess and her friends hours of imaginative playtime.  I know my girls would love one of these. Princess7Anyone that has children is more than aware that you can never have enough storage no matter how much you have.  This Disney Princess toy box from Argos fits in perfectly with our theme is a fair size for your little Princesses shoes, dress up clothes and you can save 10% as it is now down to £34.99.

Princesses love to pamper themselves of course and what better than a Princess Nail Set from What2buy4kids (£11.50).  Whose up for a Princess manicure party?

Debenhams has the perfect talking companion for any Princess.  Dreamy says over 20 cute phrases and is priced at £30.  Reasonable for a talking toy that will be buy your child’s side for many years.

Last but not least this personalised Princess poster from priced from £10 is a great addition just to let everyone know exactly which special little Princess this special bedroom belongs to.

How did I do?  There are so many items on the market for Princess rooms it’s hard to know where to stop plus there is not point for excess as this just creates clutter.  Other items that would also go well with a Princess theme include a Princess or pink rug, a themed clock and mirror, a thrown/chair and more.

Great Girls Coats for Spring 2016

It’s finally Spring, the thought of which fills me with joy at the knowledge that Summer will eventually arrive as I have placed an order for some nice warm days this year.  Recently I purchased some Tweed Black and White coats from John Lewis in their sale.  These coats are suitable not only for Winter but also the Spring months which are still rather chilly.  I love the design and quality of these coats.

DSC02227Suitable for various occasions we thought that they would be more than appropriate for our recent film premiere visit to Kung Fu Panda 3.  The coats were not only warm but looked great especially against the brightness of the red carpet!!!

Also on my shopping list are some other equally adorable coats for girls from a couple of other retailers.

This beige quilted coat with faux fur trim from RJR.John Rocha at Debenhams is a gorgeous style and I am clearly not alone in thinking so.  Pop onto their site and you will see that these are low in stock so if you want one hurry!!!

Coat 2

Beige is a great colour for the Spring and also Summer seasons and following in that colour theme I also found this beige belted faux fur jacket this time from River Island.  Also available in khaki both have a removable fur trim but I think the coat looks better with the trim rather than without.

Coat 3

Next up this adorable beige trench coat from alexandalexa.  The classic style should see you through younger sisters too provided your little one takes reasonable care of their coat.

Coat 4

I’m loving the alexandalexa site at the moment and this time deviating from beige to a classic black.  I couldn’t decide between their puffer from Kickle or Burberry.  Both are padded and lined with faux fur and would look great on my girls.

Coat 5

Coat 6I hope you liked my selection.  Which would you choose for a little girl?
