I really do love bags. They come in so many gorgeous designs and many of us have a slight obsession with owning a fair few – I for one will put my hand up to this. Come on, admit it I am sure I could mention a few designer name brands and you’d say oooohhh yes please. Well let me introduce you to a company that is pretty new to the scene https://www.katherena.com/ created by up and coming designer Katie whom you need to keep a close eye on. I should add that it might be an idea to grab a bag or two now before the word gets out as these are sure to sell out fast.
Katie has always wanted to have a career in fashion and when she was younger would watch the Hills on MTV and dream about working in America in Vogue’s fashion cupboard. Katie studied Fashion and Clothing at college, she then went on to study photography, styling and marketing. As well as this she also completed internships and did work experience in styling. On one of the internships she was assisting the stylists on the X-Factor!
The various bags are named after streets that Katie has lived on giving them that bit more of a personal feel. The site offers various colours of trunk clutch which look really cute, a holdall with detachable mini bag and a backpack available in two different colours. The designs are different and well thought out. It’s good to stand out in a crowd for all the right reasons and with the great range of bags on the site you are sure to do this with style.
The clutch bags would make a great go too bag for nights out whatever you get up to. The bag is hard so protects its contents and also lockable (a key is provided). There is also a detachable strap to giving you the option to wear or hold the bag.
I love all the bags on the site but my favourite was the Romola Rucksack which costs £75. The bags all look great but my last rucksack is on its last legs so this would make the perfect replacement. It’s so pretty and feminine I am sure you will all love it too. This gorgeous pink & grey twill polyester rucksack (vegan) has dark brown faux leather shoulder straps, a handle, 4 pockets on the front, plus 3 inside the main compartment. The main compartment of this bag is against your back for added security – what a clever idea, perfect for my trips around the West End. The bag is also available in grey and mustard which is equally pretty and makes choosing which to get a really hard task.
The bag is a good size so you can fit plenty in but not excessively large. The straps can be easily adjusted for comfort.
What do you think guys, isn’t it lovely?
I liked the backpacks so much that I had a chat with Katie and she has kindly agreed for me to give away one backpack to one of my lovely readers. You can choose between the grey and mustard or pink and twill (subject to availability).
