This year, my daughters Christmas wishlist consists of a dress and slime. I’m sure both will be on many other girls lists her age too.
The slime is super simple to acquire it’s everywhere even in supermarkets. The dress wasn’t quite so simple to find. A recent visit to Brent Cross Shopping Centre looking for dresses saw us return empty handed and disappointed. By coincidence David Charles Children’s Wear emailed me asking if I would like to feature one of their dresses. No need to think about that!
Have you seen their site?
It’s a little girls paradise with beautiful dresses of all colours and styles. Sizes range from ages 2 to 16 and prices start from £110 and go up to £429. There is also a special offers page where you can get your hands on dresses with as much as 80% off the RRP.
This cute dress is now just £59!
(child not included)
There are party dresses ideal for birthdays, Christenings, weddings or any other celebration. We certainly weren’t disappointed with the choice available. We chose the:
Royal Blue Brocade Opera Gown
This stunning tailor-made dress in a gorgeous royal blue and ivory and gold colourway with an embossed brocade design. The top is fitted, the skirt has 4 inverted pleats under this. Between the pleats you’ll see the gold tulle.
There is a concealed zip over which a matching bow sits. The attention to detail is exquisite and the glitter on the tulle added that extra sparkle and magical Princess feel to the dress.
Everything has been thought of even down to a little clip to attach the bow over the zip to help hide it.
My daughter plans to wear her dress on Christmas day and New Years Day. In fact she’ll probably put it on the second the schools close and want to live in it during the festive period. It’s the perfect dress for these occasions with a mixture of Royal blue, ivory and gold giving it a uniquely regal appearance.
The dress can be kept looking beautiful if you follow cleaning instructions. Options are either cleaning it by hand in cold water or get it dry cleaned. It would be a shame to ruin such a fabulous fashion piece.
As well as dresses you will also discover a lovely range of accessories to complete the look of the outfit.
