I love music.  I listen to music and sing on a daily basis and if I wasn’t so shy I probably be singing somewhere – not just in the shower and to the kids.  I love listening to a range of music and have noticed that there are some great love songs being played at the moment which is of course very appropriate with Valentine’s Day coming up.

I know not everyone is a fan of Valentine’s Day but I am sure you are all fans of good music so I wanted to share my favourite love songs that I have been listening to on the radio and YouTube recently.

James Arthur – Say You Won’t Let Go

Apparently I am not the only person that likes this, check out the number of views on this video!  It’s a great song and one you can sing to quite easily in the car on the way to work or on the school run or even when doing stretches after a power walk or workout.  I can see this one being used at quite a few weddings this year.

Ed Sheeran – Shape of You

This is pretty catchy and one of those songs you can enjoy with youngsters too without worrying about loads of naughty words popping up.  The beat is pretty fast so great to dance and exercise too!

Little Mix – Touch

I’m not too keen on the video on this one but the song is still very catchy.  I didn’t realise this was a Little Mix song until I saw the video.  Is it just me or are there too many gyrating men?  I think that they should have ditched most of the men and made something a bit more watchable it probably would have saved them a little on the cost of the video too having less men to pay for.

JP Cooper – September Song

I love this, it’s sweet and non offensive with NO swearing.  This song has been around for a little while but it’s going strong which really isn’t surprising.

John Legend – Love Me Now

What a great voice!  Love the lyrics in this one and the message.  I bet many of you love this song too.

There are so many great songs at the moment I couldn’t feature them all but these are some of my favourites to get you all into the mood for snuggling up to a loved one whether they are your partner, child(ren), a pet or teddy.

    1. One of the mums at our school tried to get tickets but I’m not sure how she got on. I think the tickets go super fast as he is very good.

  1. Ohh these songs. <3 <3 I love them, and I'm going to relisten right now. I LOVE that in John Legend's video it's his actual wife and baby xxx

    1. Oh wow I didn’t know that was his family that makes it even better as a video, how lovely. Thanks for letting me know it will have far more meaning now when I watch the video.

  2. I’ve got a terrible ear for music and can never remember names of songs that I like. I listen to the radio to and from work every day and I couldn’t name you one song in the charts. I know they keep playing Ed Sheeran but no idea of the song or if i like it or not! I can only say in the moment “oh I like this song” but as soon as it’s over I’ve forgotten it!! Sadly I haven’t got speakers on this laptop so I can’t have a listen to these songs xx

  3. I have a great love for music as well and I am really enjoying these songs you have featured here. I am a big fan of Ed Sheeran and John Legend. The JP Cooper and James Arthur songs are quite lovely as well, I will have to find some more of their songs to listen to.
