The Little Boy or Girl Who Lost Their Name Personalised Book Review & Giveaway

There has been a growing rise in personalised products.  These range from items for adults to items for children and the scope is pretty varied.  Amongst the most popular personalised items for children is a book.  This can make a lovely keep sake and an item that they can grow up with and keep to show to their children when and if the time comes.  Recently I was contacted by the UK’s most popular personalise picture book company to do a review and having little ones of my own this sounded like a great opportunity.  These are suitable for children from birth up until around the age of 8 and the story characters vary depending on the letter in each child’s name although some of the letters have character choices too which is nice.

There are 2 different books available The Little Boy or Girl who lost Their Name and The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home Book.  Both come in you option of paperback or hardback.  There is also a Lost My Name Alphabet Poster and a Silly Snap Game that you can have the child’s name printed on.

When I went to place my order I was pleased that the whole process was easy and did not take too long to do and I could choose from a small range of characters for some of the letters.

The books arrived in no time at all and I excitedly presented them to the children.  I must say when we opened the books the children and I were impressed.  Each page was beautifully decorated and the little ones enjoyed flicking through and reading each page as it took them through the letters of their name on a fabulously fun adventure that meet new and lovely characters on the turn of each page.  These are lovely, well thought out books that really help encourage children to read as well as making them feel pretty special having a book that is based around them and their name.

The girls loved their books and wanted to read them in bed that evening.  They loved the beautifully illustrated pages and that their names appeared in their very own book.  The girls had great fun comparing the different pictures on the pages.

Mr Squishy was also lucky enough to get a book and he loved it!  He now grabs the book at nap time, gets into mummy and daddy’s bed, gets cosy and waits for mummy to bring his bottle of milk and read the book to him.  When Mr Squishy isn’t preparing for a nap he finds looking at the book great fun and enjoys sitting and looking at the pictures on each page.   He loves his new book and he isn’t the only one as this company has sold over 1.7 million copies in 176 countries.

The children’s faces say it all, they loved their books.  To spread and promote the joy of books and to help encourage one lucky child to read we are giving away one of these beautiful personalised books for a lucky boy or girl.
