There are so many toys on the market nowadays and with so much choice it can be hard when steering through the numerous shelves of them or pages online to find toys that children will enjoy playing with for more than 5 minutes. Let’s face it many things are the best thing since sliced bread to our children until our little angels get their hands on them then after a mere day or 2 of play their interest wanes rapidly and soon enough it ends up at the bottom of the toy box never to be played with again.
Toys need to be fun and exciting (educational too where possible) and where dolls are involved they need to lots and lots of accessories to keep play interesting. Throw in a toy that can be altered such as Pinypon from Bandai UK and you are onto a winner. Pinypon have a range of toys that are interchangeable and themed on some much loved and well known characters including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Pocahontas and many more. We were sent some goodies to play with and of course an unboxing video was a must. Here is how we got on.
It was great fun setting up the Pinypon Tales House Playset and we (of course I had to get in on the fun) followed the instructions provided to get it just right and then decided to do a few redesigns. They may have a lucrative career in interior design ahead of them.
The girls were really excited when they saw how many accessories were included in the pack. The Pinypon Tales House Playset would make a great gift for a little one who loves Cinderella and we loved that other fairy tale characters were welcome to live with her too. The smaller packs make lovely additions to the set and of course multiply the fun that kids can have with this. This is a great way to encourage imaginative play and role play.
The Cinderella doll is as mentioned included in the box and by turning her head you can transform her from ragged to fabulous in her pretty blue dress and vice versa. Her head comes off so you can swap it with other dolls should you wish too do so which can be pretty funny.
Here we have the dolls from The Princess and the Frog Playset. On the left is how the dolls come in the box and on the right you can see they have had their heads swapped, something that my daughter found hilarious – she couldn’t avert her eyes to look at the camera as she giggled at the Prince with the Princesses head and tiara.
The dolls have small holes on their hands and heads so that you can swap around all manner of accessories from swords to wands, jewellery, tiaras etc. Once you’ve finished playing you can pack up all the toys in the house which has a handle making it easy to take with you. Just to add the house clips together very easily so you don’t need to worry about it opening and spilling its contents on your travels.
The products are CE marked and are typically for children aged 4-9.
